Very good food.
Stayed here twice now and couldn't be happier. Great location and views. Made to feel very welcome. Breakfast is faultless, rooms are clean and comfortable.
Very quiet with limited bar. Good breakfast though.
Some guesseds are disappointed because they think it's a hotel.. it's a pub. Beautiful rooms with absolutely outstanding views. The food is locally sourced and is of the best produced. the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the Lion Hotel.
Delightful hotel. Great food, friendly people. It's the local pub, so an early night might be tricky, but join in and you'll be instantly welcome.

Great spot in a lovely part of Wales. Ray and Janet are the kindest and friendliest people I have come across while staying anywhere on my travels. Food is great, some of the best curries around, Ray and Janet have traveled a lot in India and it shows once the food hits the pallet. Plenty of other dishes to hand if curry isn't your thing and I couldn't fault the breakfast either, really is top class. Some great beer and ales on offer too, with friendly locals at the bar which made me feel very welcome and took interest in what I had to say. I always make it at least a one night stop over on my travels while in Wales even if it's a bit off my intended route.
It's just that good.
