We also specialise in Memory Keepsakes , unique, handmade and bespoke to your individual requirements. Memory, Quilts, bears and cushions out of your loved ones clothing – little or big, young or old, past or present.

I adore making these bespoke memory bears, all of which are one of a kind and may be personalised at no additional cost . Testimonials received from previous customers confirm that customers have loved them as much as I do and will cherish them for years to come, some of whom are coming back time after time each for their next child, or gifts for family and friends.
Each bear is made by me personally with the utmost care and attention to detail to produce a high quality keepsake that will last for years to come with no two bears ever being the same.
Due to the amount of interest in my memory bears, I operate a Waiting List system for all new orders. The Waiting List enables me to offer estimated waiting times at the time of securing a place. Some orders take longer than others, and also customers cancel and this is why I cannot guarantee completion for a specific date it will do my best to meet specific requirements
When I am ready to take receipt of your clothing bundle, I will email you with instructions on how to proceed with your order. Upon confirming receipt of your clothing bundle, I will issue an invoice for payment and will start work once payment is received.

If you have never used a sewing machine before or you’re feeling a bit rusty, this is the class for you. We will familiarise you with the machine itself and teach you all the basic skills of machine sewing to give to the confidence to start simple projects on your own.
In this class you will cover the following techniques:
Thread up your machine
Wind on a bobbin
Understand stitch tension, length and width
Sew straight lines, corners and curves using a seam allowance
Cut from a pattern template
The art of pressing
Hemming
During this 3 hour session you will use your new found skills to make a fab bag . Its the ideal project bag – whatever your project may be! The main compartment is perfect for works-in-progress while the many side pockets organise small tools, patterns & notebooks. It may have been designed with knitting in mind but you’ll find it equally useful for a variety of purposes from travel to everyday!
Once you have mastered the basics you could enrol onto our Intro Part 2 - Essential Skills class where you can learn the techniques that are unique to dressmaking projects.
All materials, tools and refreshments are provided. Instructions on how to make the bag will also be available for you to take home.

Level: This is a Beginner Plus class, you must have used a sewing machine before.
In this class you will learn the following techniques:
Lay and cut a pattern
Transferring pattern notations to the fabric
Notches, grainline and seam allowance
Straight darts
Insert an invisible zip
Finishing edges (zig zag and turned under)
Three types of pleats (box, inverted & side)
Hemming
Mastering these essential skills will give you the confidence to start more advanced sewing projects and will give you a good foundation to begin making up garments using level 1 commercial dressmaking patterns. It will also give you the skill set needed to join our Introduction to Dressmaking 6 week course .
