At the Little Welsh Chocolate Company, we hand-craft our chocolatey goodies the nice way, so that you can enjoy the naughtiness guilt-free.
All of our products are palm oil free, using natural ingredients, and we only select organic and Fair-trade chocolate to ensure maximum sustainability. We make sure our packaging is environmentally friendly too, giving the chocolate inside an ethical hug! If you ever wanted an excuse to go back for one more bite - you just found it!

Happy Pancake Day! What do you like to cover your pancakes with? If, like us, itŌĆÖs chocolate spread; hereŌĆÖs a recipe for a deliciously decadent version that also happens to be palm oil and soy free. ¤Ź½2 x bars of The Grown Ups One (Dark Chocolate) ¤Ź½2.5 x bars of The Smooth One (Milk Chocolate)... ¤Ź½75g confectioners sugar ¤Ź½125ml flavourless oil (we used organic rapeseed oil) ¤Ź½ 100g raw blanched hazelnuts
Method: Blitz the hazelnuts in a blender/food processor until they turn to a paste. Add the confectioners sugar and blitz again. Melt the chocolate either in the microwave or in a bowl over a pan of hot water (donŌĆÖt let the water touch the bowl). Mix the melted chocolate, hazelnut paste and oil together. Pour into a clean jar or glass and pop in the fridge to cool. When it is set you can take it out of the fridge. Eat as is or let it warm to room temperature if you prefer it to be softer. Plastic and more plastic! In our quest to become zero waste we have moved away from the use of plastic in the packaging of our chocolate bars. Where we do use plastic (bin liners/parcel tape, etc) we will only use the recycled kind. However, many of our suppliers still send ingredients and equipment to us wrapped in this dreaded material. We have been searching for a long time for somewhere to recycle this plastic waste. Last week a recycling facility just down the road from ...us (Blaenavon) was recommended to us. How had we not heard of this place?! We visited Capital Valley Plastics on a dark and snowy afternoon and took some samples to see if they could recycle them. They were so welcoming and friendly and clearly so passionate about what they do. Turns out they can take some but not all of our plastic so the search continues! They take the stretchy kind (the wrap you get around multipacks of water bottles/cans, cling film, the wrap that goes around pallets, etc). If you have any plastic waste, as a household or business, that you donŌĆÖt know what to do with, take it to these guys if you can. They turn it into all kinds of other things, including damp proof membrane for construction sites. The pictures show FOUR DAYS WORTH OF PLASTIC! This would otherwise end up in landfill or the sea. LetŌĆÖs put it to better use. If you have any recommendations for what to do with our other plastic (non stretchy) please get in touch. Never tasted chocolate like it. Exceptional! If your looking for that special something as far as chocolate is concerned then this is definitely it.
My hubby tried these delicious chocolates first and said...Hmmmm...hmmmmm...hmmmm...they are devine. I tried them and made pretty much the same sounds.

Gorgeous melt in the mouth truffles from a very talented Chocolatier. The flavours combine so well together - Brandy cherries in milk chocolate with coconut, Belgian milk chocolate with rum, raisins and cranberries, Chambord liqueur in white chocolate with raspberry puree - all WOW! I can see these chocolates being sold around the world.
As someone whoŌĆÖs not a huge chocolate lover I can categorically say this is ’┐Į’┐Į
