The Live Lounge

I always feel it would be a much better venue if they didn't let as many people in. You can barely move in there, let alone dance.

A few days ago I went to the live lounge and would strongly NOT recommend. I went to the bar and was waiting for a drink, there appeared to be a bartender who was free as he was pacing up and down the bar. I mouthed what drink I wanted as I assumed he was free to serve me, however he just stared at me and after a few seconds he grabbed a wet glass and pretended to throw it at me, intentionally causing the water to splash me in the face. Everyone around me was in disbelief at what the bartender did to me as I was respectful and simply only asked for a drink. I highly stress that I was completely sober and though the bartender was serving someone else at the time, I still can't think of how I deserved to get water thrown in my face. Honestly would have preferred him to ignore me than throw water in my face. Highly unprofessional and the whole ordeal made me feel really uncomfortable, me and friends will definitely not step foot in Live Lounge again.

Every good night I've had in Cardiff has ended up at live lounge. Loud, sweaty, cheap booze and good music. What more can you ask for. Never had the food but I've been told by close friends it's good portions and decent food. Last entry is 2am

Great place.... if you like squeezing through bodies. This club has been around for ages with the same old problem; too many people, too little space. Must be doing well because of the sheer amount of people so why hasn't any investment gone into extending the premises?

Went on a Saturday night and the music was good with a good live performance. Bouncers were friendly and drink prices reasonable. The only thing that lets this place down are the drunk idiots jumping around to the music and bumping into people and knocking over drinks. There needs to be better management on evicting individuals that are too drunk.

The Lounge. What can I say? Can't think of a better place to get plastered before unleashing fury upon the Cardiff streets. Staff are chill, music is icy and the drinks are cold. So do me a favour and leave them a warm review lest my favourite power hour venue freeze.

Loved the music and they were very friendly and the bouncers where forgot my I'd and one ove the Welsh bouncers let mi in

Great atmosphere, great deals on drinks, live music makes it a great venue!

Great music, good atmosphere, drinks are at a reasonable price, could be cleaner but you generally expect that in a club/bar.
