Went here for friends birthday meal, we each tried each other's food it was all freshly made and all I can say is omg please stay chef best food so close to home ,try the lamb pie it is to die for, will be back more often ,if u haven't been since the new chef has started you must go there .well done all

The food was amazing my daughter and her wife and my grandchildren invite me for mother day meal and the staff was great as well I really enjoyed myself thankyou

Saturday 24th Greatest Showman!!

What a fantastic night, haven’t laughed so much in ages! All the performers were fantastic especially the singers. We were so lucky to stumble across this little gem of a place and will definitely be back. Thank you Mark for in our opinion the best entertainment ever! As you know we have moved from Brighton Sussex and I have never seen anything this good and value for money!!! Also thank you to the chef and kitchen staff for supplying a very tasty meal.�

Our first time at the Saturday night musical cabaret and thoroughly enjoyed. Singers were awesome, dancers were adorable, laughter was infectious. Meal was excellent, good quality, freshly cooked and hot! Highly recommended (though maybe not for the easily-offended). Well worth the money and the 70-mile round trip. Fun with more than one capital 'F'!!!

On a trip to the local area for the best part of a week, a friend & I went to The Llwyndafydd Inn for meals on the 24th & 25th August.

While there we ate the same; the steak with seasoned potatoes on the Thursday and the lasagne tonight.

On both occasions the food was incredible; yes, the type of thing you can read in many a review of anywhere, but the steak was medium rare precisely as requested, tasted delicious and the recommended potatoes were a joy compared to the mash or fries options most other restaurants offer as 'one or the other & nothing else'.

Tonights' lasagne was ridiculously good. Neither the cheese or the sauce were overbearing which is a regular bug-bear of most pubs/restaurants I go to, the meat was thick and I enjoyed each mouthful.

For tonights' dessert we had the cookie crumble with chocolate sauce and ice cream in a skillet pan. An intriguing way to serve, I thought. Even better to taste.

The service both nights; at the bar and at the table, was friendly & fun without being pushy or intrusive.

I would recommend your pub/restaurant to anybody that I know who may happen to be in the area and more importantly than even that I sincerely hope to get the chance to return.

Massive thank you to all the wonderful girls who preform and waitress to mark for creating monroes and the bar staff what a fantastic night didn’t stop laughing from the second We walked in to the second we left. Will most definitely will be returning Xx

Highly recommend. Meal was lovely and the Turkish delight Ice cream was devine. Adrian was very polite and friendly. Dogs are welcome too.

Great evening last night at carvery/comedy night - Mark has an incredibly good voice and a wicked sense of humour - both kept all our group of 8 entertained all evening and got us up dancing for the last hour or two which we loved too... Can't fault it, just our sort of evening and we'll be back soon.

As luck would have it, we have visited twice in the last week and half. The first occasion was with good lady and youngest son, the second with with the good lady. On both occasions the food was cooked to perfection. The first occasion two of us had steak, cooked as we like it. The only thing I recall about the other half's meal was she enjoyed, and insisted we shred the fondue pudding.

The menu has now changed so it resembles more of a steak house. Still good quality, and the lamb steak I was served, along with the good ladies burger was very enjoyable. We had participated in the shared potato wedges starter, which comes with melted cheese, ham and a dip. Next time we shall forgo this as we had no room for pudding.
