Went there as a family to celebrate my daughters 2nd birthday. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals & the 2 waiters that served us were so helpful. Great service, great food, will visit again soon

Visited this evening party of 9 food and service was amazing the staff were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble thank you for making our daughters birthday a good one!

Really busy as the exam results came out yesterday, everyone loves a celebratory meal ! Sat in the bar area but could still order from any menu. I have a wheat allergy and really impressed with the attention they give to my needs. Was given the very comprehensive allergy folder. Food arrived separately from other diners orders. Would definitely recommend for the service and food quality!

I eat here quite regularly. I have only once had a problem a long time ago with a rump steak baguette the problem i had was i couldn't find the steak! Lol not good for the price i paid. Think over £8. I didn't say anything at the time but thinking about it later in the day i rang them to say i was unsatisfied with the meal for the price.

They emailed me a voucher to go back for a replacememt meal and i have been happy with every meal since. I love their fillet steak and i always book a xmas meal every year. It is the 17th this year so looking forward to that. Staff are fab. Surroundings are pleasant. And plenty of parking usually. Me and hubby go regularly and i also nip in with a friend now and then too. (When hubby is in work! �)

Had a lovely meal at the Long now yesterday for my mother's birthday. There was 3 of us which ate off the daytime menu where meals start at £5. One had fish which they said was lovely, another had a burger & he added cheese & bacon again another winner. I had the steak which was £6. I was sorry that I didn't upgrade to a bigger steak. I ordered a peppercorn sauce which was also nice (for £1.50 you coukd serve a bigger portion. It was fine on my small steak but it wouldn't have been adequate for a larger one). I do have 1 gripe: your starters which were you £2.79, I orderd garlic bread. Now it did take a while for our meals to get to us but that was fine. The garlic bread didn't arrive as a starter it came with the main course & was the last item to be served againnot great but no issue. It was the price you charged for it. 2 slices of frozen garlic bread which were (barely) warm and had no colour to them. The tasted fine. You really overcharge on the starters-it was almost 1/2 the cost of my main meal & really not worth more than a £1.00. If I order off that menu again, I wont bother with a starter next time not worth the money. Our waitress was also great. Will definatly return!

Had Christmas lunch here this year and it was beautiful. We had the latest sitting and you could tell it had been very busy but the staff were very friendly and gave us everything we needed. Every course was tasty and served promptly. Very happy with our visit and would recommend to others.

Came in for the All You Can Eat Breakfast with my 2 nephews this morning. No booking but was met instantly and taken to a table ... fantastic spread of continental options and the bespoke cooked breakfast order was taken in good time plus was on the table within a coffees time! So good! Will be back next time I'm in town ...just for this! Big ups to the FOH team too ... lovely breakfast, great service and kids eat free!

Booked for 24 people for my daughters 18th Birthday. Service was brilliant and the meals with great. Very pleased with everything.

Been to the Longbow Llantrisant today, not the first time, it's one of out favourite places to eat. Only 3 of us today and we did not book a table. We were seated immediately as usual.

We all went for something on the daytime menu. Prices from £5 each. A drink each (bottomless), and with the bottomless chips/fries. We were all full for the day. shortly after we were seated a party of more than 20 were seated close to us and understandably they took a lot of attending to. But this was not detrimental to our table.

My son paid the bill (he is well trained) he asked how such a good meal and experience for the 3 of us can leave him with change out of 25 quid.. 100% we will be there again soon.

A big thank you for the staff for accommodating us today (11 adults 3 children). After our reservation at a nearby pub was “lost” the beefeater kindly welcomed us in even tho they were extremely busy and fully booked!! We had a lovely lunch with great service 👍🏻👍🏻 Thank you 🙂

Went here last night. It was a busy night so eat in the bar instead of restaurant. Prompt and pleasant bar service and food was good. Me and the wife both ordered steaks which were fine. San Miguel was lovely as well plus using your 40% discount voucher always helps. A good experience well done.

Had a nice meal here on Tuesday night, service was excellent, very friendly staff, food was good two courses for £13 on fixed evening menu prices a bit high otherwise, drinks very expensive better to buy a bottle of wine to share one glass costs £6.59 ! Very clean and comfortable restaurant and plenty of parking space have been here for lunch recently too which was very good day time menu very reasonable although drinks again expensive but would return again on the whole a pleasant experience

Decent choice for breakfast with an interesting evening menu.

As Beefeater's go this one is above average. Very good meal, properly cooked to order, excellent service, served in good time. Stayed over at the adjacent Premier Inn (also superior) and had breakfast too. Again, above average. ****1/2 stars is probably a fairer reflection.

As previous poster we waited for 45 mins for fish and chips to turn up to only to discover the order hadn’t gone through. We were given another drink and the meal was free, thanks to our nice waiter BUT he should have been checking that all his tables were getting the food. Food was great when it turned up but the meal was ruined because of the embarrassment all round, we didn’t have time for dessert as we had to rush home to feed our dog!

Place was virtually empty but had to wait twenty minutes before meal arrived pre sliced thin beef obviously crucified in a microwave

Lamb wasn't too bad in flavour but chewy

Hot chocolate luke warm

Won't be coming back

Had Christmas lunch here this year and it was beautiful. We had the latest sitting and you could tell it had been very busy but the staff were very friendly and gave us everything we needed. Every course was tasty and served promptly. Very happy with our visit and would recommend to others.

Came in for the All You Can Eat Breakfast with my 2 nephews this morning. No booking but was met instantly and taken to a table ... fantastic spread of continental options and the bespoke cooked breakfast order was taken in good time plus was on the table within a coffees time! So good! Will be back next time I'm in town ...just for this! Big ups to the FOH team too ... lovely breakfast, great service and kids eat free!

Been to the Longbow Llantrisant today, not the first time, it's one of out favourite places to eat. Only 3 of us today and we did not book a table. We were seated immediately as usual.

We all went for something on the daytime menu. Prices from £5 each. A drink each (bottomless), and with the bottomless chips/fries. We were all full for the day. shortly after we were seated a party of more than 20 were seated close to us and understandably they took a lot of attending to. But this was not detrimental to our table.

My son paid the bill (he is well trained) he asked how such a good meal and experience for the 3 of us can leave him with change out of 25 quid.. 100% we will be there again soon.

A big thank you for the staff for accommodating us today (11 adults 3 children). After our reservation at a nearby pub was “lost” the beefeater kindly welcomed us in even tho they were extremely busy and fully booked!! We had a lovely lunch with great service 👍🏻👍🏻 Thank you 🙂

Went here last night. It was a busy night so eat in the bar instead of restaurant. Prompt and pleasant bar service and food was good. Me and the wife both ordered steaks which were fine. San Miguel was lovely as well plus using your 40% discount voucher always helps. A good experience well done.

Had a nice meal here on Tuesday night, service was excellent, very friendly staff, food was good two courses for £13 on fixed evening menu prices a bit high otherwise, drinks very expensive better to buy a bottle of wine to share one glass costs £6.59 ! Very clean and comfortable restaurant and plenty of parking space have been here for lunch recently too which was very good day time menu very reasonable although drinks again expensive but would return again on the whole a pleasant experience

As Beefeater's go this one is above average. Very good meal, properly cooked to order, excellent service, served in good time. Stayed over at the adjacent Premier Inn (also superior) and had breakfast too. Again, above average. ****1/2 stars is probably a fairer reflection.

As previous poster we waited for 45 mins for fish and chips to turn up to only to discover the order hadn’t gone through. We were given another drink and the meal was free, thanks to our nice waiter BUT he should have been checking that all his tables were getting the food. Food was great when it turned up but the meal was ruined because of the embarrassment all round, we didn’t have time for dessert as we had to rush home to feed our dog!

Really busy as the exam results came out yesterday, everyone loves a celebratory meal ! Sat in the bar area but could still order from any menu. I have a wheat allergy and really impressed with the attention they give to my needs. Was given the very comprehensive allergy folder. Food arrived separately from other diners orders. Would definitely recommend for the service and food quality!

I eat here quite regularly. I have only once had a problem a long time ago with a rump steak baguette the problem i had was i couldn't find the steak! Lol not good for the price i paid. Think over £8. I didn't say anything at the time but thinking about it later in the day i rang them to say i was unsatisfied with the meal for the price.

They emailed me a voucher to go back for a replacememt meal and i have been happy with every meal since. I love their fillet steak and i always book a xmas meal every year. It is the 17th this year so looking forward to that. Staff are fab. Surroundings are pleasant. And plenty of parking usually. Me and hubby go regularly and i also nip in with a friend now and then too. (When hubby is in work! �)

One had fish which they said was lovely, another had a burger & he added cheese & bacon again another winner. I had the steak which was £6. I was sorry that I didn't upgrade to a bigger steak. I ordered a peppercorn sauce which was also nice (for £1.50 you coukd serve a bigger portion. It was fine on my small steak but it wouldn't have been adequate for a larger one). I do have 1 gripe: your starters which were you £2.79, I orderd garlic bread. Now it did take a while for our meals to get to us but that was fine. The garlic bread didn't arrive as a starter it came with the main course & was the last item to be served againnot great but no issue. It was the price you charged for it. 2 slices of frozen garlic bread which were (barely) warm and had no colour to them. The tasted fine. You really overcharge on the starters-it was almost 1/2 the cost of my main meal & really not worth more than a £1.00. If I order off that menu again, I wont bother with a starter next time not worth the money. Our waitress was also great. Will definatly return!

As Beefeater's go this one is above average. Very good meal, properly cooked to order, excellent service, served in good time. Stayed over at the adjacent Premier Inn (also superior) and had breakfast too. Again, above average. ****1/2 stars is probably a fairer reflection.

As previous poster we waited for 45 mins for fish and chips to turn up to only to discover the order hadn’t gone through. We were given another drink and the meal was free, thanks to our nice waiter BUT he should have been checking that all his tables were getting the food. Food was great when it turned up but the meal was ruined because of the embarrassment all round, we didn’t have time for dessert as we had to rush home to feed our dog!

Went in for lunch yesterday

Place was virtually empty but had to wait twenty minutes before meal arrived pre sliced thin beef obviously crucified in a microwave

Lamb wasn't too bad in flavour but chewy

Hot chocolate luke warm

Won't be coming back

Went here for a family reunion. Ordered the meal which didn’t take too long.

Mrs ordered Oven baked sea bass which you would think would come hot, as it does say Gently steamed on the menu , no it was tepid barely edible. I wanted to return the meal but the Mrs wouldn’t let me. £16 for a cold fish is taking the Michael !!.

What is so difficult in serving hot food?
