Liz is having an excellent #screeningday! She's just won the raffle and is now the proud owner of a whole lot of Shazam and Detective Picachu goodies! 😂

Liz and I are very thrilled to be spending the next three days at the gorgeous Depot cinema in Lewes at a ICO Screening Weekend. We'll each be watching 4 films a day but we can't tell you what they are yet!

It's Open Mic Night tonight. Just after 9pm after our 7pm showing of Aladdin! (In 3D)

Well I spent this afternoon with a huge grin on my face and trying not to cry like a baby...frequently at the same time. Why? Because I finally managed to catch a screening of Rocketman...and it's SO WONDERFUL! It's on tonight at 7pm and I urge you to come and see it. Unless you hate musicals and Elton John...in which case it may not be for you!

QUESTION!! We hope to screen the Berliner Philharmoniker New Year Concert and we have two choices for you...
We can screen it on New Years Day (probably a matinee but could do an evening if this was better for people - state your preference!) Or we could show it at around 9.30pm on New Years Eve - we would have a lovely dress up evening and stay open until Midnight to bring in the New Year with a glass of bubbly and a communal Auld Lang Syne.
... (It has to be late on New Years Eve as we will have to clear up from our Kids Pajama Party!)
Tell us which you would prefer...and if you know anyone not on Facebook who would be interested, ask them and let us know what they think.
THANK YOU!!

Please come along and support this brilliant Welsh film this evening (Tuesday 7pm.) During a long hot summer in the 1970s, four boys roam free through a neglected rural paradise, until a tragedy strikes that sets them against the adult world and changes their lives forever. Set in Wales and starring Hinterland's Richard Harrington. After the film there will be a Q&A in the bar with co producer of the film - Catrin Lewis Defis.
Catrin is an experienced television Producer an...d Line Producer and has worked on many multi award-winning drama series including Broadchurch, Dr Who and Torchwood and Amazon Prime’s The Collection. Her films for television include A Poet in New York. Catrin’s first feature film experience was line producing Crow. Last year saw her co- produce Bittersweet Symphony as well as Last Summer. Also during 2017 Catrin produced Bang - an 8-part bilingual TV crime drama series nominated for a Writer’s Guild Award and for best drama series at the Celtic Film Festival and the New York Festivals World’s Best TV and Films. Catrin has most recently worked on Craig Roberts’ next feature film Eternal Beauty.

We are planning a season of musicals in the autumn. This would be once a month, on a Friday or Saturday night and consist of a showing of a musical with dressing up, maybe a spot of interactive fun during the film and an after show party all themed around the musical.
Tell us which musicals you would most like to see on the big screen - we would love a mix of modern and classics.
So far we are thinking...The Greatest Showman, Mamma Mia, Moulin Rouge, Singing in the Rain, Ha...irspray...
We need to think not just about the best films but what kind of films we can build a party around.
GO!
