We are please to announce that Wales , England and Scotland will be going head to head here at The New Celtic Lakes.

What a difference in the weather today- a very big thank you to you all that braved the storm Callum this wk- end. Extremely hard conditions with the gale force winds & constant rain. A few got beaten unfortunately due to the winds & Bivvys got battered is probably an understatement- please post all recent catches to the catch reports page . Unfortunately Bivvy Dinners is unable to get back to the lakes this afternoon as they have been cut off due to the rivers bursting their banks - with the weather clearing later we're hoping to be back in the morning for breakfast service again - apologies for any inconvenience.. :(

Well what can I say stunning water fantastic owners great facilities and shop. this water is well looked after and so are the anglers we will defo be back and to top it off even tho we had a slow week which I think is due to arriving very soon after spawning I personally came away with 3 pbs and caught some real nice fish and lost some monsters too would defo reccomend great fishery

Well after not getting to the lake intended my m8 Wayne met Maggie co owner we gave them a call and we rolled up .wow what a place Neil and Maggie met us then put us on the fish we had a great time there me catching three carp and my first cat needless to say I'm one happy angler could of been more if I hadn't brought my rods in as I was nackered from all that action but I was so chuffed with my self ps can't wait to go again

Just spent a 24 hour on lake 1 with my two sons 10 and 8 years of age.Maggie and Neil were so welcoming and friendly that it was a pleasure to fish.

The fishing experience was awesome with so many fish caught up to 15Ib but also in abundance.My son's absolutely loved their first fishing session at the new Celtic lakes and we will definately be returning.

Great child friendly owners 5 stars all day long.Amazing fishing with pegs to match and on board tackle and bait store at a stone throw away.

Just had my first trip to Celtic lakes and by far the best fishing experience of my life firstly the lakes and grounds are immaculate the fish are treated how there meant to be not like most lakes I've been to , fantastic tackle shop with every bait u could ever need and the friendliest and most hopeful owners I have ever met Neil and Maggie are brilliant and pointed me in the right direction to catch a cat fish which I have been after for years I ended up catching 6 of them beating my pb .also had my dinner delivered to me by there bivvy dinner service which is awesome couldnt recommend this lake more 10 star In my book
