Went for lunch one Saturday and for the price the menu is really good and the food tastes amazing, staff are also really helpful would definitely recommend.

Was recommended this place by my friend I'm staying with. Met up with my cousin here for food and drinks. Excellent service fantastic food (loved the home made chips) definitely recommend and visit here again. Thank you ’┐Į

Thank you so much for a amazing night for my daughter's 16th the food was served all on time and cooked to perfection for a large group of people and not 1 complaint from the whole group . Food was tasty and good value for money , lovely staff excellent service again thank you all

My new favourite spot for Sunday dinner! Booked here 2 weeks ago and had one of the most tastiest cooked dinners of eating out we've had, it was a real home cooked roast, the cheesecakes of the week was to die for.. Staff were friendly and very accommodating not just to us but other families as well.. We returned today taking both sides of the family and the food was equally as delicious as the 1st time and so was the cheesecake of the week! The pub is clean, modern and my kids loved the garden that had toys for them to play with and space to run around! There onestly isn't a bad thing to say about this place, my two experiences so far were 5* and I hope all the return visits we make are the same :) I'll just squeeze in that for 6 adult meals 2 childrens meals, drinks and desserts it didn't even reach the ┬Ż100 making it even nicer to eat out without it costing a weeks wage haha!

Lovely home cooked evening meal yesterday. All thoroughly enjoyed. My son even ate the pizza & he don't eat anything when we go out! Also love the addition of the alcohol slush drinks! ’┐Į’┐Į

Busy place too, constant stream of drinking and eating customer. Highly recommended!! X

Came here for a Valentine's day, great value for money, stunning 3 course meal and very friendly staff. The decorations in the pub for the night was lovely, they even had a rose in the centre of each table, Fab!! Highly recommend The Penny Farthing, thank you for a lovely night xx

6 of us had a meal last night, every meal was gorgeous, very tasty and plenty of it. Staff very polite, lovely warm atmosphere. Will definitely be going back. Thankyou.

Went today with my mum and fianc├®e just for lunch. We all ordered the cod and chips. The chips were great proper home made. The amount of cod inside the batter was very disappointing to be honest. Staff were good so a mixed result I guess.

Food burnt for my liking asked for steak well done and it was under cooked and sausage was over cooked on my mixed grill also finished food before garlic bread was bought out. And a little over priced for what it is.

First time to call in here

The food - I had house curry was ok but very watery my daughter had lasagne was ok but not much beef so not very tasty as a beef lasagne More like a veg lasagne

two bad meals in a row, will give this pub a miss in future, olso air con is not working! to cold, beer good--- pity about food quality
