Live music, fresh food, reasonably priced clean rooms (£70 per night), wonderful traditional bar, beers from £3, jukebox, chatty locals and smoking area. History too - Dylan Thomas drank here. In 1934 he wrote, 'In half an hour the 'Three Mariners' will have undone their waistcoats. I shall drink beer with the portreeve and no crimping pussyfoot shall say me nay. ' Kingsley Amis also drank here whilst writing The Old Devils in Laugharne.
