The Old Station Tintern

Nice location, friendly staff and great cream teas. Perfect stop during a hike or cycle ride in the summer.

Great little "refuelling" stop for anyone roaming in the area. You can visit it in its own right too, especially with kids, if you want a short local walk.
Tip: Sample their Lavender Cake. Yes, I know it sounds weird, but it's absolutely amazing.

Great little pit stop to take in the amazing views. £1 for parking for 3 hours, £3.50 for the whole day. The little outdoor bench area is perfect for a packed lunch.

The friendly cafe serves great bacon baps and plenty of cakes/ sandwiches to choose from! They do not serve big breakfast though so if you're looking for a bigger meal you're better off heading towards the nearby town towards the Abbey.

Spend the day here with family. Lots to do and see. Lovely scenic walks followed by yummy cream tea and picnic. All washed down with fabulous live music. What more could you want and the weather was good as well! :-)

A very lovely looking train station that's now a visitor centre. With a lovely coffee shop in the old station. Where you can get very nice cakes to go with your pot of tea, or cool down with an ice cream. There some nice walk near by where you can walk along the old track bed or follow the river along. There's a play ground of kids here too and certain days a miniature steam train runs along part of the old line for you to ride on.

Absolutely a very good place to visit.
Wonderful walks along old railway lines.
Carriages are really good to visit.
The cafe is wonderful, food really good and the staff are very pleasant and polite, extremely good value.
