The Olive Grove

I was hosting my brother from overseas and took him to this cafe today. I was appalled at the sullenness of the young waitress who took our order, also the unhygienic sticky wood grain tables. We were brought a latte without a saucer and two smeared glasses for our cold drinks. We didn't complain and were friendly when we asked for the table to be wiped and a saucer for the latte. The time we were there wasn't too busy, but there was a disinterested coldness and hostility from the young staff throughout our time there. I would not recommend this cafe.

Wonderful food and welcoming, quirky atmosphere. Will be back the next time I'm in the area!

Beautiful cafe with brilliant food for lunch, snacks and cake. Excellent range of hot and cold drinks. Lovely staff, dog friendly and great view to top it off. Have your cake and eat it.

Waited 10 minutes to be served while the two waitresses chatted to an associate who had called in. No acknowledgement or response. Left feeling my custom was in valued

My brekfast was mathematicaly built.
Charred tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms and most importantly the beans were contained in a little pot so as not to invade the plate.

Superb coffee and milkshake.
