Love this place! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, quality drinks and outstanding food at a sensible price.
A very comfortable and friendly family hotel. Excellent food and superb breakfast. We were in a newly refurbished bedroom which was executed in a fresh and contempary style. Recommended.
Stopped off en route to our holiday in Wales. Great food - really impressed with the fact that it was freshly made and the chips were epic!
Kids meals were really good - home made chicken gougons. Pretty pub garden. Fast and efficient service. Will try and pop in again on the way back.
This nice quiet location with little artificial lights nearby meant we got a good night's sleep. Our arrival time was late but the previously served dinner smelt very good. The friendly staff welcomed and entertained us at the bar before we retired to our rooms. The rooms are a little pokey but ours has been newly refurbished and the large comfy bed was appreciated.
Stayed here last night and dined in the restaurant. The food was excellent, very friendly service. Room comfortable and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend!!
Very friendly pub with a well stocked bar and good menu. Very dog friendly too with a camera you can watch otters on in the nearby brook.
Nice & friendly 1st pint was cloudy but changed it without question chicken curry was piping hot & very tasty.
Nice atmosphere, good vegetarian options on the bar menu and they were prepared to adjust them to suit. Surprised that there was no vegetarian main on the a la carte menu, but the bar menu alternatives were more than acceptable. I would go again.
