We came across the oyster catcher yesterday quite by accident. Wow!! We weren’t disappointed. The food was fabulous, piping hot & well worth the wait. Thanks for a fabulous meal.

User

User

I love the Oystercatcher. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Had Sunday roast there last week and it was lovely and great value. Would definitely recommend.

User

I absolutely love coming here! My favourite place to dine! We visit quite often being locals and are never disappointed! Food is delicious, always hot and great menu choice! Very friendly and attentive staff!

Excellent afternoon snack. Visit every time we’re in the area. Beautiful setting. Courteous staff. Excellent all round. The fantastic sunshine was a bonus!

EASTER SUNDAY:-

Just had another delicious meal with hubby. NOTHING too much trouble, so accomodating , friendly and professional. ALWAYS a warm welcome, more like friends. Incredible views, plenty of car parking space, great menu and drinks selection, and great value for money! All locally sourced produce. ( dog friendly outside too..a bonus when out walking)

Leanne served us, please can you thank her again, she was so very helpful and deserves a huge 5*feedback. Especially having to work on Easter Sunday, it was very busy and quite warm. We will be back next time we are up. Can highly recommend! Thanks so much again. 5*****

Been a while since we visited. The menu is much improved for vegetarian and pescetarian options. The Smoked Haddock Risotto starter was nicely balanced and the Oven Baked Sea Bass did not disappoint. The veg was a bit too "al dente" for my liking but it seems to be the fashion and I won't complain. The baby potatoes were spot on. The Raspberry and White Chocolate Cheesecake was very light and absolutely delicious . Reasonable Old and New World house wine selection. Serving staff were very friendly and helpful as ever. Do bear in mind that many of them are young trainees and learning on the job so do have patience with them if they are not fully au fait with everything. That said, we had no complaints with the service and the staff made every effort to be helpful.

7 of us had a fantastic time here for Fathers day and it was absolutely faultless. Food, service, staff, location all brilliant. Highly recommended.

User

We had a lovely food - I unfortunately didn’t like one of the ingredients in my meal which hadn’t been mentioned on the menu - they replaced it straight away with no fuss at all and didn’t charge for the meal. Really good customer service - will definitely come again

User

Very pleasant evening had by all 10 of us. Large group booking did not become an issue. Warm and friendly staff. The food was enjoyed by all of us.

User

The cafe isn't as good as it used to be very small choice on menu we were there in March and really enjoied the food has there been a change seens then and we miss the mish mash furniture.

User

It’s been a while since we visited. It’s still a great place food is very good and service is quick and polite, however what let it down was the outside seating area, now showing it’s age, tired shabby seating full of stains needs a good clean or replace the covers. Bit off putting knocks it down to 4 stars .

User

Had a lovely meal. Very busy there service was good though. Lovely place

User

Visited the cafe during a walk with the pooch along the amazing beach - friendly staff but not much choice in the cafe - didn’t visit the restaurant but would imagine food incredible as the views were very disappointing considering how close to the beach - just the car park and back of the sand dunes - fab decking and decor but again nothing to see.

Wouldn’t visit again

The Oystercatcher (Wills Bar) -Disappointed that the menu has changed: our favourite dog-friendly bar used to be great for lunches. Salad/panini is NOT a lunch. Won’t be coming back in a hurry.

User

Service was very slow - over 1.5 hours till we had anything to eat, manager communication skills appalling - we won’t be rushing back. The venue was lovely and the waitress tried her best with an overbooked and busy bank holiday weekend. This was a typical example of making the most of financial gain at the expense of an acceptable service. An embarrassment for beautiful Rhosneigr.
