my daughter booked this lovely spa hotel for my 60th birthday there was 6 of us altogether..the whole weekend was absorlutely luscious..bedrooms were gorgeous...breakfast was delicious and plenty of it...the grounds were lovely even had a swing in the garden which i had to go on..the spa itself was lush felt very pampered...and lastly the staff that we encountered throughout our weekend were very friendly and very helpful...Will definately be going back...

Went with Friends to the Mersey Legends night Saturday to celebrate a birthday. We all had a great night, food was good and service was great. The band were spot on and got everyone up and dancing. Plenty of room as it was not crammed as some venues we have been to. Seemed to be lots of satisfied customers and certainly will be returning.

We had our beautiful wedding here yesterday my husband and I can’t express how grateful we are to Kirsty and her team! From when I booked the wedding last January you have been great and yesterday it just blew us away, the food was spot on all our guests agreed, the service from the girls was top class nothing was too much trouble and I can’t thank you enough you made my wedding reception room look magical. Thank you again Edward and Helen xxx

We had a overnight stay and wedding reception here. Venue is beautiful Beautiful and Staff are all happy and welcoming. Rooms were were very clean and tidy. Food was Amazing and very filling. A nice & relaxed atmosphere at night. Defiantly one of my favourite places to go

Must say from the Friday we arrived until the Sunday when we left the service the food the accommodation was excellent.

A special mention to the wedding coordinator Andrew who was excellent and helpful on the big day.

Also I must mention little B she was a lovely lady survived behind the bar with a smile on her face and was very helpful in what ever you asked.

Me and my girlfriend had a night away here for my 18th birthday and it was easily one of the best nights of my life�The gym has some high level equipment, the swimming pool is so refreshing and the lighting is amazing, there’s a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and a lounge area where you can chill out and just forget about everything�We had a full English breakfast this morning and it was amazing just like the staff at the hotel. Easily rate it 5 stars and recommend it for anyone, such a nice place to be!

Just came back from spa and afternoon tea ,what can i say staff are so welcoming from the time we arrived to the time we left ,spa was relaxing,afternoon tea was lovely and so much well worth the money i would like to say a special thank to lauren who looked after us couldnt of asked for anymore thank you all will be returning in future �

Just back from a spa break at the hotel with friends, and I have to say it was superb!! Staff were so polite and friendly, food was beautiful and the spa is very relaxing. Just what we had hoped for!

From the minute we entered the hotel we felt welcomed. The reception staff were pleasant and very helpful as were all the staff we came in contact with.My cousin and I had used another spa on the way to the hotel as we had left it too late to book treatments. But we were told we could use all the spa facilities which were very good.

Our room was a twin deluxe, it was very clean with good quality bedding and comfortable beds.

The lounge bar meal was delicious and good value for money. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice all dietry requirements.

We would definitely stay here again.

All the staff at the Parkway Hotel & Spa were absolutely fantantastic, nothing was too much trouble whatever they were asked, from the time we booked in on Friday evening to begin preparations for our daughters wedding to the time we booked out on Sunday. The Wedding and Wedding Reception was faultless the food was amazing, the service very professional which all made Sara & Matthews wedding an all together enjoyable and memorable day. Thank you all.

Had a nice treatment and lunch spa deal - the staff were friendly and accommodating . Overall the experience on the day was nice which was helped by the beautiful weather we had this weekend . I just feel that the hotel is a bit dated and that there was only complimentary tap water to drink after the spa may a herbal tea would of been nice or a fresh complimentary juice . As in allother sis day I have had this was a free option! Maybe one for the hotel to consider ?

A bit dated (very 90s) but well maintained and very nice staff. Breakfast was great and the scrambled egg was amazing! My only minor gripe is that I was charged for the morning newspaper on my bill. First time in 17 years of staying in hotels that has happened and surprising given the cost of the room. Just a minor gripe tough!

We have just had the Christmas dinner there, we thought we would go there instead of cooking for a treat, for the price we paid we all felt the food was ok nothing special considering it was Christmas Day, too many people packed into the main room, my mothers head was knocked by the gentleman behind her through no fault of his own. The room was also very hot no ventilation or the fact of just too many people. For the price of 69.00 per person I thought you charged too much for what we had. Not the greatest to be honest .

My last evening staying at The Parkway Hotel and Spa was well, let’s say it was less than desirable in regards to my evening meal. I have stayed in the hotel throughout January Monday to Friday for work and have stayed several weeks through October, November and one week in December and in the evenings I will typically have my meals within the hotel bar as my company place a line of credit on my room of £15 per night. I will have the 6oz rump steak 2 days out of the 4 I am here and this meal comes with hand cut fried chips and battered and fried onion rings, now me being a little health conscious asked if the fried chips and fried battered onion rings could be substituted for sweet potato fries and seasonal vegetables. Now on every occasion that I have stayed here this has never been an issue and was fulfilled for myself as well as this being fulfilled for a colleague I sometimes dine with. However today 1st February 2018 this is now an issue and I’m being told that the seasonal vegetables will have to be charged separately as they amount to more than the onion rings. To say the least I found myself in something of a quandary and was quite bewildered by this situation. Especially since I perused the bar food menu and saw that the side orders of the onion rings and seasonal vegetables were priced at the same amount! After a long week away from home in what I thought was an accommodating hotel in the hospitality industry I find myself vexed and now no longer comfortable in the hotel or bar by this situation and a loss of appetite not quite knowing what to do or think of this once seemingly accommodating hotel.

I enjoyed my food in the bar before seeing The Big Macs Wholly Soul Band on Saturday 17th of February 2018 , this was the second time I've seen a gig here in recent months and once again we were packed in like sardines with hardly any room to move, it was so difficult that I seemed to spend the night apologising to people for trying to pass them, this fact alone stopped me enjoying what was a wonderful band singing/playing great tunes, I will definitely think twice before buying a ticket for a show here.

We visited here yesterday for Sunday Lunch, we had 3 courses and each one was very disappointing, the prawn cocktail was just a few prawns with a spoonful of sauce on the top which was tasteless, we had beef for the main course which was very stringy and although there was quite a selection of vegetables when we came to eat it it was barely warm, the Apple crumble I think was in the oven for far too long and had dried up.

It was a shame as the restaurant itself is very nice but afraid the food was not up to standard.

Rude reception staff when checking in I had a member of staff roll their eyes at me when something needed to be checked, blood left on the bath handle in my room from the last occupant I discovered when I was in the bath I had to get out and could not go back in. The one star is only because the breakfast staff were very friendly the only positive
