Live music venue, record store, bottle shop and craft beer bar in Carmarthen town centre.
The Parrot Description
By day, we have a well-stocked bottle shop (with a regularly updated selection of around 150 beers + ciders), café + bar with the Tangled Parrot upstairs for all your vinyl + CD needs.
By night, things change gear. We host a variety of events (check our Facebook page for full details) ranging from music to poetry, comedy, art and plays. We also host beer + food related events.
Reviews
This is it - our final farewell and a celebration of 7.5 years packed with memories to last a lifetime.
We're kicking off with a Libertino playlist curated by the one and only Gruffydd Wyn Owen.
This will be followed by a live set from The Dappers who have been at the heart of The Parrot since the very beginning. We're delighted to see them return for our final night.
... Bringing in the New Year, we present The Vinyl Frontier featuring DJs Tangled, Frantastic and Sensei Sion.
After midnight, Carmarthen hip hop act Culture Vultures return for one final appearance, followed by DJ Captain Black, who brings home-made mash-ups and musical mischief which knows no boundaries and gives no fucks.
Finally, Sesh On continue the party with SelectriX and SUB:CONSCIOUS going back to back until close.
7pm to 4am.

We came in today for lunch and the lady that came to take our order etc was amazing!! ( sorry didn't get your name). The food was so delicious and fresh!! The customer service was brilliant and will definitely be returning with my husband before baby arrives ☆☆☆☆☆ xx
