Are you are a parent concerned about your child's progress in lessons or is your child a student looking to make the leap from good to great? Either way, I am able to create a supportive and detailed platform of study whereby your child is able to explore their studies in a personalised and detailed manner via happy, hour-long lessons that focus on areas of difficulty and challenge as well as offering students the opportunity to explore topics in a depth that lessons in school are often unable to provide. I am an experienced and enthusiastic teacher of English and History and a former Head of Department in both subjects. A happy, confident student is one who will learn and I see the building of positive relationships with my students as important as the delivery of the lessons. I have been a private tutor for 10 years and alongside my teaching, it has given me a good understanding of how students learn and the difficulties they face. On its day, this is the best job in the world.
