Delicious food, well presented, reasonably priced friendly staff. Only a small restaurant but pretty and lovely views from the garden

Just had a lovely hot roast beef and onion club sandwich with chips coslaw a salad. Brilliant vey tasty. Highly recommend

Excellent portions of our favourites lamb shank & duck.

We called in here over the bank holiday weekend and had cream tea. The views were stunning. We happily sat out all afternoon and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly, the food lovely. A great find!

Excellent informal lunch . Unlike other reviews found staff friendly and charming without being effusive . Ingredients seemed very fresh to us and mix of specials and standard menu gave a good choice and good beer and wine by the glass was fine . We were in the conservatory and the view was stunning which added to our pleasure. Far exceeded our expectations .The interior itself was a bit dark so important to get into the conservatory if not warm enough to be outside .

Inside it is clean and cosy, veiw is beautifull and staff are friendly. However the food lets it down! Low quality and not freshly prepared
