Great food, good value and friendly service

Fourteen of us went for a birthday celebration last night(19.7.17) and what a gem of a place it is. The staff couldn't do enough for us, they were very pleasant indeed. The food was exceptional, of the 14 of us there would have been about 10/11 different meals and they were all fabulous. Would highly recommend this restraunt to anyone that comes to New Quay. Well done Port of Call.

Went for a family birthday meal last night. Excellent food and service. Owner was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Great sense of humour. Homely feel. They even did a birthday surprise and team came out to celebrate. Will be back for a meal and to take in the beautiful views. Thanks for making the night extra special.

Excellent service, amazing food and a superb experience.

Food was average - the children's chicken nuggets and chips were disappointing as if were just from frozen. Tomatoe pasta -- lacked lustre and was presented as cooked pasta with the sauce dolloped in the middle - making the outside uncovered pasta stuck together. The menu seemed to promise far better quality than it delivered. The staff were friendly, and premises were smart, the facilities fine, though no baby changing areas.

My wife and I visited recently and had a lovely meal. The restaurant has a fresh and light feel to it and is decorated in the boutique style which is so popular now. It makes a nice change from eating in gastro pubs which have taken over now wherever you go. We were made to feel very welcome and were served by extremely pleasant staff. The menu is comprehensive and competitively priced and we were not kept waiting long before our food was served. The meals were well presented and my steak was cooked exactly as I had ordered. The owners are present and approachable and I think that is not just important, but vital to the success of any business. We were on holiday at the time and found the restaurant too late in the week to use it more, but would highly recommend it to anyone who is staying in New Quay or the surrounding area.
