Lovely Sunday dinner, staff very friendly and helpful whilst pub has a pleasant ambience. Fine for children. Most enjoyable will come again.

So good to have our village pub being such a welcoming place .we liked our old landlords Mair and Phil and it's a hard job to take over a pub when you don't know the area or locals.
The pub is great ,clean and welcoming, nothing too much trouble .If Simon and Alison get it wrong please tell them they always put it right but if they don't know how can anything be remedied.

We a group of 4 stayed here end of January 2017, in my opinion the food is above normal pub grub standard, we found the staff to be very friendly and the new owners Alison & Simon who had taken over a few months previously to be very friendly and had no problems interacting with customers. They went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay there. We were the first to stay in the cottage adjacent to the pub, which had only just been completed. I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend the sunday roast!!!

Unlike the review from Paul Johnson who has never visited this establishment, this is a lovely restaurant. Great food, great beer! Must visit!
