I liked it here, was here on a vacation. Great atmosphere in my opinion. Service was great, nice staff.. love the fish and chips..

Converted cinema gives the place a great look. I didn't eat on this occasion. Plenty of seating and a good atmosphere

Good boozer but tends to run out of real ales.
Decided to visit the new Prince of wsles and I believe almost a million was spent on the refurbishment and it is stunning but the old ways of their bar keeping is still evident. Its, 20:40 and just asked for several real ales on pump and all but abbots were off for line cleaning. They must have the cleanest beer lines in the UK as they are continually in cleaning fluid.
Looks as though the beer festival is over on the Prince, this is a pic of the slop bought at the beginning

Great venue for football fans. Service very slow though. Great beers and ambience but spoiled by bar staff more concerned with talking to each other than serving customers.

The building itself is beautiful and very impressive. However, got my tea in a dirty glass. I had to wait for the dishwasher to finish cleaning the dishes, as there were only 3 glasses left and all 3 dirty. The new cup I got was also dirty... When I finally got my grilled chicken burger (after an hour of waiting) it tasted like rubber and parts of the fillet were blue. Asked the 'lovely' girl working there for a replacement meal, it was only a waste of time. The new burger was as bad as the first one. Only a bit of lettuce in the bun and 1 MINI slice of tomato... very dry and horrible taste. I don't recommend this place, even McDonald's across the road serves better burgers.

Try out their wetherspoon app it's quicker than ordering and they are straight up with your drink and meal comes just as quick as going to the bar! Great for introverts like me!

Sticky floor and plastic glasses - not so impressive for something that pretends to be one of the coolest pubs in Cardiff

The service here was fantastic, especially from the manager. I was delivered a very over-cooked steak and sent it back. The manager was very apologetic and made a bit of a fuss of us, and gave us a drink for the hassle. When the food returned, the steak was cooked perfectly and was quite tasty, good standard for a chain pub.

Lovely staff, fast and efficient service and I challenge anyone to find a better value breakfast than the ones you can find here. The place could do with a bit of a paint job but really no complaints.
