Went to watch dick Whittington yesterday with aberafan swimming club and we all really enjoyed, so entertaining and hilarious. Was also lovely to meet the stars of the show in the foyer afterwards. Looking forward to the next one next year. Thank you

User

Went to watch dick Whittington as my 2 was in the rat pack and it was brilliant I was shattered from laughing amazing

User

Visited here tonight to watch roy chubby brown.. I am a support worker, myself and a colleague of mine brought one of our disabled residents to see roy chubby brown as he is a massive fan.. we could not possibly thank the staff enough, nothing at all was too much for them and they made every effort to help in any way they could. Thank you once again

On 11th October the people of Port Talbot are going to see one of the best shows ever, believe me "Jive Talkin " will take your breath away, in my view they are the best I've ever seen, and i can't wait to see them again at your Theatre, trust me everyone that attends will absolutely love them.

User

Max Boyce Live 01/03/2017

A cozy atmosphere, great acoustics and a great evening to celebrate Saint David's Day!

Plenty of parking on site if your early, if not there is an overflow car park across the road with plenty of space!

See you soon!

User

I am very annoying this is the last pantomime in a princess royal theatre I am not happy the Talbot council has no right to do this ! let's do the dishes what about the children who like come to the pantomime ! this is disappointing ! shame all the Talbot council

User

Fantastic panto what a difference to the Owen money productions which had become dated. we laughed all the way through its a must see. Facilities were ample lovely staff as always

User

Awesome night remembering the life of the very great Deke Leonard. Great bands, great atmosphere. Feet ached from dancing, eardrums battered by music. Wonderful.

User

A great venue with a really welcoming and helpful team - we were there to film The Karrots reunion gig, for Welsh Connections, on Friday night and they made everything so easy !

User

saw max boyce who was awesome. theatre staff were under pressure with the crowds seats are a little snug but comfortable enough parking was a major problem as it was a sell out show.

User

The place was full of stalls for stamp and postcard dealers. The 48th annual fair for the South Wales Philatelic Federation. Good selection, but the catering was rubbish. I went to bakery in town and got chucked out because I bought a "takeaway". No one said it had to be eaten off the premises. Not impressed.

User

Good theatre, acoustics could have been a bit better when sitting near the front... free parking for an evening show.

User

A huge thank you to all the staff at The Princess Royal Theatre and the cast of Priscilla Queen of the Desert... a fun filled joyous production and a friendly welcome by the staff

User

Great acoustics and the sound was amazing, but two nights of paying £1.70 a pint for shandy as i was driving and the third night the prices went thru the roof to £10.20 for 2 pints of shandy and one lager so i asked if the girl had made a mistake so she asked the manager and his words were "look pal im not being funny but what do you expect with lager at £1.70 a half?!" so i said ok so thats £3.40 for 2 halfs and another £3.40 for a pint making £6.80 so £2.40 for topping up with lemonade? and his reply was "soft drinks are like that but you dont have to drink it, also my sister and brother in law paid £5.20 for a pint of shandy and 1 of lager and when i got there their next round of 2 pints of shandy and 1 lager was £10.20 so the other pint of shandy was £5! Something not right!!

User

Been here fircthe danice festival for the last two weekends the only thing I am not happy are the prices in the food and drinks. The festival was mainly children but with parents. Grandparents and there family's they charged 80 pence for a small bag of crisps and £1.20 for a small fruit shoot drink disgusting the man selling them agreed with me but said it's priced by the theatre. Thank God for Tesco a 2 mins walk away where we bought 6 packs of the same crisps for £1 and 4 pack of fruit shoots for a £1 .the staff were lovely there and a great venue for the show but I can't imagine watching anything else there as the chairs are so close together it's very difficult to get passed anyone. And not very comfortable at all don't know if it's the same upstairs.

User

Unfortunately I have to say that I think these are the smallest theatre seats I've ever sat in so ended up very uncomfortable, especially as legroom was also very tight

User

Sarah Millican was great but the theater was a shock. Bought drinks in the cramped foyer, then took them into the theater. It was just like being in Penyrheol comprehensive school theater but smaller. Only found one galley ladies toilets, with queues out through the door, barely any room to pass and only one hand dryer that I could see! It seemed so big on the outside yet too cramped on the inside and not enough parking!
