Good prices not enough tills poor staff flat out and they really do try to help

Excellent selection of craft materials for us papercraft addicts not to mention all the home essentials and bargains. Searching for a bargain? Look no further.

Nice shop, never too busy. Has WC and café. Stocks a good range of good priced products - home and garden, fishing and walking and pet.

Entered the store twice today.
Not one member of staff on homeware, curtains in particular, two calls put out for staff to arrive, no staff arrived.
Left the store.
Returned not long after, asked three staff in total where anyone for the said section was.
Two calls put out by the front desk, a third requested by myself.
A little old lady was also waiting help stood there.
A very pleasant young man helped best with my request, but did not work on the section himself, which I understand.
I asked for another call out at 1pm, since waiting since 12.20.
The helpful young man returned with a manager who explained one staff member on the section and staff who were "entitled" to lunch break. I replied "obviously staff members are"
He did say he was unaware of the call outs until I had informed him.
I called the store four times, from inside waiting, not one Call was picked up.
I explained I was totally unimpressed with the experience and would write a review, as I am doing, sat in store still at 13.10pm.
He then went to find another member of staff to deal with the goods I was looking for.
Thumbs dowm to the Range, lack if help and most of all, the waiting time. Very poor standard of service.

Always good prices and new thugs being added all the time has a really good cafe to.

I was surprised at the reasonably priced range of Drapers & Wilkinson sword gardening tools. Watch out for the garden furniture & household products too!

Fantastic range of products on sale and at a very good price. Great for just wandering around getting ideas.
