We popped in this evening without booking. We had to wait a short time but the staff were very accommodating and got us a table sooner than they said. Tuesday night is burger night and as a vegan I was dreading asking about choices, I had no need! Straight away I was told it wasn't a problem, the chick pea burger was vegan and they could swap the brioche bun for mushrooms. It was absolutely delicious! The rest of my family had burgers and said they were delicious too. My 5 year old had chicken bites and chunky chips and the serving was huge! 5 very happy customers. Thank you x

This place is amazing had a beef and Yorkshire pudding burger it was fantastic and toffee crunch sweet and because we moved table for them they didn’t charge us for our sweets thank you very much

The Red Lion is a very friendly family run Inn and Restaurant with excellent and plentiful food. We enjoyed our stay for the long weekend. You can walk to the sea and the surrounding countryside is lovely.

Stayed for 1 night at this lovely venue during March '18, was met by friendly staff & was quickly showed my room, which was absolutely lovely. It was warm,clean & cosy, and complete with en-suite, tea/coffee facilities and a flat screen tv,

In the morning, after a very comfortable night, I was met by the Owner who introduced me to his Wife & Daughter, and after a lovely freshly cooked breakfast, we all sat and had a chit-chat,

The Outside Smoking Area is very quaint and lovely complete with a big flat screen tv and the Garden is beautiful.

Overall I would have no problem recommending The Red Lion, (which i already have)

and would certainly stay again. Rob Walker (Dublin)

First visit yesterday , after being recomend by a fellow caravan owner, fortunately we booked a table in advance as most of the tables were taken when we arrived. Delicious Sunday lunch which left us too full for dessert. Will defiantly be back again soon. Very good value.

First visit to this lovely pub on Tuesday 13th Feb(burger night). The food, the service, the staff were all brilliant and the whole place just has a great atmosphere. Can definitely recommend this pub for a meal or just a drink. We will definitely be back

Been for a beautiful Sunday dinner today to celebrate my parents 25 wedding anniversary and once again it was magnificent,starters mains and puddings were to die for. service was 2nd to none thanks again guys never had had a bad meal no wonder your always busy x

Absolute heaven on a plate � been saying we were to visit here for the last 5 yrs. Last night we managed to get there. So glad we did. The food was amazing! What a talented chef� and the staff were so very attentive! What a fantastic team � won't be waiting so long next time x

21 of us celebrated my dads 80th birthday here today ( bank holiday Monday 7th May 2018 ) would like to thank all the staff for making it the perfect day the food as always was amazing so was the service can’t fault this place & highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting definitely a 5star always great food & service here�

1st visit today for Sunday lunch, was so tasty on a hot plate, 2 courses for £10.95, what a bargain, the dinners were lovely and desert delicious, I had lemon meringue pie, hubby had sticky toffee and custard. Would highly recommend, the staff today were lovely girls, thank you, superb!!
