Excellent little cinema ... its worth noting ... all films on a monday ... even bank holiday mondays are only £3.50 per person .. bargin i say .. lol

A proper well run tidy cinema. Just like the old days , it should be supported by all who live or spend leisure time in beautiful Mid Wales .

It's cheap enough and they have more up to date films now but the interior hasn't changed from ugly red velvet since the 70's it seems. It still smells like cigerette smoke from that time. While waiting for tickets the other day one of the attendents/cleaners gave the man behind me the one fingered solute. Maybe it was his mate? Either way at first I thought it was directed at me. So unprofessional. Hate this place but it's the only cinema for miles and they know it so people keep coming even though it's horrendous.

I love the local cinema! Always has at least two new films on and cheap Mondays is a bonus! I heard that they have refurbished the smaller screen and I can't wait to check it out soon!

Well have just read the appalling review. My take is its a local cinema with all the latest films. Helpful and friendly staff topped off with an enjoyable and affordable experience. If you want to drive for nearly an hour (more depending on traffic) Pay twice as much and drive nearly an hour home feel free but I am delighted to have this wonderful resource called the regent cinema on my doorstep. job well done

The cinema itself was very small, which I was absolutely fine with. However I assume the air conditioning was broken and they had just a small fan at the front to replace it. Try sitting in a fully enclosed room for 2 hours with a 4kw electric heater blasting away nearby (rough estimate of the heat generated from all the people) and a 12 inch fan sat 20 feet away from you and you'll get an idea for how pleasant this was.

I'd go back when they have this fixed, but think they should have provided more warning as it was pretty unpleasant.
