If you want to learn about the Zulu war made famous by the movie this is the place to do it. There is a replica of the battle field to help you understand what happened there. The museum is not just about the Zulu battle but covers other eras as well. Full of all sorts of memorabilia including the most Victoria Crosses ever awarded in one day. Great examples of the everyday items that soldiers had.

Small but interesting museum. If you have any interest in the movie Zulu then bar for going to South Africa this is the place to visit. Lots of interesting little pieces of information and some very knowledgeable staff make it a great visit if that's what you are interested in.

While a small museum it carries a lot of military history within. It covers a lot of conflicts including modern wars and does not just focus on the two world wars.

Wonderful historic museum. For all Welshmen, Rorkes Drift evokes pride and to read of the heroic defence of the regiment is always stirring. Not all of the soldiers were Welsh so equal praise to all that served.

A priceless gem of military history devoted to the Welsh Guards. Parking opposite near the canal or behind museum in Morrisons. Both are cheap compared to main stream car parks. Wheelchair accessible. So much to see its mind blowing and most little boys n girls with any military interest will never forget this awesome little place. A good hour n a half can fly by as it did for us..Many cafes, pubs, restaurants are but a stones throw away & combined with a picturesque canal barge ride just a 2 min walk away or a visit to many varied shops in central Brecon (u r already in it) makes for brill day for u, kids & g/parents alike...Entry = £5/6...So so worth it...A must see venue. Loo's on site. No tearoom but sandwiches outside job.
