Do not be put off by the slightly down at heel look of this pub, as it is a little gem. Everything here is basic, but honest. Everybody, staff and patrons, are friendly and helpful. The place is really dog friendly and the lovely harbour is only a 5 minute walk away. The food is basic and reasonably priced,as are the rooms. If you are looking for a dog friendly place from which to walk the stunning 5 miles to St Davids, this is it. Lisa cooks a lovely full breakfast.

Nice view of the sea and away from the bustle of Solva. Lovely old pub dog.

Lovely pub with friendly locals. Enjoyed some great Sunday afternoon music by Paul Reggie.

Lovely atmosphere in the pub. The food is inexpensive. The quality is ok though the chef has a bit of a heavy hand with seasoning. The crab salad came with a whole dressed crab which was fresh and tasty, but there was too much roughly chopped onion in the salad. Same with the pasta - it was nice but overpowered with too much black pepper. There was even black pepper on our chips - why?

Welcoming and relaxed atmosphere among the locals. Very dog friendly. Fantastic sea views at the back worth outside seating (unfortunately it is also the smoking area). Crab salad was superb and seafood linguini was good too only slightly over peppered. Nice panna cotta. Friendly service.
