Very friendly Manager and his wife. They do an effort to make locals and visitors welcome. Flexible in closing hours of the kitchen. Which is rare in the area. Well done!

Had a terrible experience, my wife and I went there after the two other pub/restaurants were fully booked, WHAT A MISTAKE, i was almost sick when i took the first bite of the pawn, it was off, I requested they take it away and they only refunded me half the price. My wife's lamb curry was simple heated from frozen. Please, please don't visit the place for food.

Friendly staff nice food and beer. Can be a bit slow in the holiday season but that's to be expected.

Had an awful experience using their take-out service.

I ordered a large family meal coming to just under £60. I get home to discover three items (2 naan and a rice) missing. When talking to the barmaid earlier in the day she assured me of their "huge" portions. Bullshit.

Those plastic trays you usually get from your local Indian are what the food is served in and they're half full. Lamb Rogan Josh £11.50 a portion, 5-6 shoddy looking lumps of meat. The naan breads are just those doughy lumps you'd probably get alongside a microwave meal, not even cooked through.

Phoned up to complain and got a perplexed response of "Errm, well what do you want me to do?" From a waitor, haha.

Seriously, go elsewhere.
