When we visited this great little pub in Aberaeron the landlord and landlady were about to move to another premises in the town, The Prince of Wales which is similarly owned by Felin Foel. It was one of those occasions which will live fondly in the memory for the warm and friendly atmosphere. There was a regular Saturday bingo session that was about to commence in the packed front bar with people having travelled far and wide to attend and not a space to be had. The friendly young barman suggested as we didn't want to join in the bingo to move into the less crowded back bar where I enjoyed the first well kept an enjoyable pint of Double Dragon. As the evening progressed we were well entertained by the landlord, landlady and their young barman in what turned into a joyous and memorable evening.
When I next return I will be heading to The Prince of Wales.
Traditional pub serving good ales and a good selection of other drinks. Food is available. There is a jukebox in the bar.
There is outdoor seating.
Friendly and welcoming, and fabulous home cooked food. Shame the landlords are moving on next month, but will def be back 2 visit their new pub!!

eat here 31.05.2012 had a superb family meal. they serve food all day and on a wet, misty, summers day it was the perfect place. the homemade lasagne was sublime, along with the gammon, and very healthy portions. the kids meals are great value, ham egg and chips was huge. if you are in the area this place is a must for good old pub grub. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED
Been here a few times now, on a cold winter's day the open fire is a winner!!
