The Salon

The Salon is based in the Rhondda Campus of Coleg Y Cymoedd and is run by 17 student hairdressers working towards our Level 2 qualification. We run a successful business and have a strong client base however we are always looking to gain more to help us with experience. We offer high quality work at low prices.

A qualified hairdresser is always at hand to make sure we are doing ok and you as the client are happy. High quality ‘Matrix’ and crazy colours products are used on all of our clients. We will try our best to provide products that we don’t originally sell. All of the products we use are available to buy at our salon, we often have sales and special offers so keep checking our Facebook page.

Our services include: cutting, colouring, perming, hair up and braids. If you have a request please contact us for a consultation. If you’re a student of Coleg Y Cymoedd you get a 10% discount. Wednesday afternoons include free cut and blow-dry for anyone who can present their student ID card from Coleg Y Cymoedd. If you are a student from another venue you can claim 10% off with a valid student ID.

• Wednesday: 1pm – 3pm
• Thursday: 9am – 2pm
• Friday: 9am – 1pm
