Very helpful staff, steak was great but the chips (slim fires) weren't good- like McDonald's chips but my friend had the burger and his chips were good chunky ones. Great Ales went down well after a day of wet walking.
This is a cosy place to go for drinks or for a meal, the only thing that for me let it down was menu, it needs to have more options. But that said the food was good and the service excellent. Well worth a visit if your passing through. Ps muddy shoes and dogs are welcome too.
Service was fantastic, food was top quality and prices were competitive. Attended for a social event with 6 friend and wasn't disappointed.
The place seemed really nice and welcoming. The menu looked good but was a little bit sparse, and there was also no Sunday lunch menu (e.g. roast dinner) so chose to eat elsewhere.
Fantastic service and very nice food. Staff knowledgeable about food intolerance (gluten) and even modified dish to suit. Very reasonable prices. Will certainly come back again.
Amazing food and really nice atmosphere. Service was a bit slow, but understandable as they were busy. Perfect place for a nice evening meal
Really nice place for a drink and some food. Atmosphere is good generally, food is tasty and in a decent portion size, drinks are very well priced with a good selection of ales.
We had dinner at the pub. Prices were too expensive for the quality provided... the burgers were overcooked and hard to bite. Staff inexperience though friendly and wanting to please the customer. Overall not meeting expectations
Fabulous. Lovely accommodation and good food. The staff were really excellent it's got a very homely feel, made all the difference and a great location to stay to be able to explore the area. Dog friendly rooms available.
