Everything good about this restaurant/tavern. But steep steps up to entrance

Slow service, food took close to 45mins to arrive. Food nice though.

We attended The Seacroft for dinner on a Friday evening. It's a nicely finished and well positioned bar./restaurant in Trearddur Bay. Our party was 5 adults and a toddler and to begin with the service was excellent. We only had main courses and of the 6 meals, one was only warm when arriving at the table and two had burgers that were apparently perfectly acceptable but dull. The pizza we ordered was excellent however, as was the Jerk Chicken dish. We did order dessert but they never arrived. After 35 minutes we were told the kitchen had lost our order. We didn't pay for them, and whist the waitress was apologetic, we were not offered a discount on our bill or anything else to make up for it, which would have been nice. The only other thing of note was that the terrace was busy and we were regularly jostled as people came and went to the bar. Some of the language from the terrace was less than ideal when you're dining with a toddler, but that's not the restaurants fault. Overall not a great experience but I think we were probably unlucky. Our waitress was very good on a positive note. A generous 3 out of 5.

We stayed here for 5 nights and we couldn't fault the staff. Karen was lovely as was her team. They were very efficient and friendly and eager to please. The food was good, large portions and hotel in good location. Room was lovely. Breakfasts were fab!

This was my third visit across two years to The Seacroft restaurant and I have to say the they are consistent in their service. Every visit has been complemented with a friendly and welcoming customer service. They have tasty food and a good, flexible menu. They even include considerations for vegetarians which I found difficult to find in the area (as most restaurants here class seafood as vegetarian). The parking is easily accessible, clean and well maintained and the outside of the building, including the balcony/outside eating area are clean too, with plenty of seating options. Indoors we have a well decorated, clean and spacious eating area with a nice bar. You are welcomed with friendly smile as you walk in and seated appropriately. The food arrives in good time and as mentioned before, tastes great! They also check on you after serving your meal to make sure you like the food, with a friendly "Is everything okay with your meal?" The cutlery is also clean and condiments readily available. If you're one to have concerns about hygiene in restrooms, I can assure you that you will be impressed with The Seacroft. They are maintained extremely well and smell clean. On top of that, they look very modern and looked after (although I can only speak for the men's as... I've not been in the women's) Anyway. I'm sure you'll enjoy your visit here as much as we did, they are brilliant. I look forward to eating there again. Enjoy!

The food is quite good and the atmosphere is very friendly. The community around is tight knit and filled with very nice people. The prices at the Seacroft are also very good.
