The Secret Owl Garden

VOLUNTEER VACANCY How do you fancy doing something different with your spare time?! We're looking for volunteers to come help us look after our owls 😊 In exchange for cleaning and general maintenance duties we will teach you how to fly owls in a beautiful woodland setting. Must be 18+ and willing to commit to a set day every week. Our working hours are 8:30am - 5pm but this could be negotiable for the right person. Ideal for people looking to get into working with animals or for those wanting to try something new. Send us a message or email if you'd like to arrange a meeting. The 4th August is International Owl Awareness Day and we'd love to celebrate our super feathery friends with you!
There will be plenty of family friendly activities including interactive sessions on owls super powers!

It's the first day of the summer holidays 🎉🎉🎉 Come down and see Orchid and all of our other owls fly daily or have a go at flying an owl yourself on one of our hourly taster sessions! See you soon 😊

Thank you to all our patient visitors today who had to wait to see our owls fly, as this cheeky baby little owl decided today was a good day to explore the trees and then couldn’t get back down! You’ll all be pleased to know she’s back safe and sound and happily snoozing in her house 🦉🙂
