The Ship Inn

Stayed in Solva for 3 days and was very well looked after by staff of the Ship who were both helpful and friendly. Cooked breakfast was lovely, bar had a great atmosphere and the room was very reasonably priced and comfortable - not to mention the amazing setting. This would be my first place to try and book were I in the area again.

We stayed at the Ship inn in July for a one night stay the bed clothes were all creased due to a broken iron .The tv didn't work we weren't told this on arrival the lamp didn't work and the grout in the shower was black with mould .The chest of drawers in the bedroom had a broken leg due severe damp from the carpet .Wasnt the best experience but the owner were very nice and the breakfast was very good.Felt sorry for the new owner as they had just taken over the place 5 weeks previous

Staff ok but the place wasn't up to B&B standard as the owners had only recently taken it on and it was overpriced for what we got. The bedroom had a certain old world charm but was very small, the duvet cover was a mass of wrinkles, the bathroom was little more than a cupboard and you had to duck when in the shower to avoid the beams. There were no blinds on the windows. Breakfast was served in a dingy looking room with no tablecloths, the food took ages to arrive and when it came it was not hot and there was no toast offered let alone jam or marmalade. Would not stay again

Brilliant lunch! Chicken salad sandwhich and chips - perfect!!

Nice little pub in Solva, but atmosphere was a bit strange and we preferred the Harbour Inn

Food was excellent, large and great value for money. Ale was good too!

Called in here for a meal with the family whilst on holiday. Friendly and welcoming with a good selection of beers and nice food too. Very dog friendly!

Simply the worst meal and service I have ever had. Though we were introduced kindly by the chef the woman serving on the bar had disgusting attitude towards us, tried to charge us for food we didn't order and demanded we paid for a tab she opened on our behalf before we were able to even put our jackets on when getting up from the table. The food was not cooked to our order and we didn't receive some sides we ordered. We tried to make a complaint at the end but were demanded to leave. Such a shame
