It is hard to be too effusive about this site. The owner Ted is a wonderfully helpful and accommodating individual. He is one of life's true gentleman and a very rare creature indeed.

The site is spectacular on many levels and is the closest that I have ever been to wild camping on a UK campsite however with the benefit of modern facilities. Absolutely stunning. Easily the best campsite in Snowdonia. Nothing else comes close. I river, open fires, barbecues, spectacular views, Woodland Et cetera Et cetera. Need I say more?

Secluded bunkhouses and camping available. In the heart of Snowdonia. Warm & cosy accommodation. Fishing, kayaking, swimming, hiking all to hand. Very cheap. Great to find in this day and age - somewhere people can afford. Thanks Ted.

Generous hospitality, stunning location, the campsite was such an exquisite base for exploring the best bits of Snowdonia.
The kayak trip down the river was the best bit, an unexpected bonus to a brilliant camping trip!

Wonderful landscape and very nice owner. Great place to set a fire next to the river with possible to swim or float on a boat for free 😎

Lovely river on the site for fishing.
There is plenty to do within a five minute drive.
The pub closed down three years ago so there was nothing wishing walking distance.

we stayed at 10 bed bunkhouse and everything was clean and tidy. All essentials provided and great place for celebrating evening around the fire. very nice place!

Great campsite. We stayed at this beautiful site for an overnight camp ahead of a climb up Snowdon the next morning, and what a place it is. The owners are super friendly and have provided great facilities with nice new toilets and showers. We were all pitched up about 10 minutes after arriving on the edge of the river and it's a brilliant spot. Such a tranquil place, we couldn't recommend it highly enough and will certainly be back!
