Lovely warm pub and welcome. I would recommend a visit.

Just met the landlady Lyn, I am not from the area and this lady has made me feel so welcome I am having difficulty leaving, if you like old and traditional style pub, please come, left a happy lady.

Found it a bit dark and noisy and the landlord is grumpy but they keep a good pint and serve food

Darryl was exceptional and served good food at a decent price. Cannot fault it.

Nicely situated in middle of Dolgellau. The beer is fine and food although simple fare is well cooked and ample portions at a good price.

Current landlord is clearly working hard to improve every aspect, and so far is doing well.
