Great atmospheric pub, welcoming staff, fabulous food and great drinks. Heartily recommend for anyone staying in the area.

Great beer and food, the lady who served us (mum I believe) was very helpful

Boasting CAMRA pub 2012, I was expecting good beers but this was not the case. Both my ales were cloudy. We left without finishing our drinks.

Proper traditional pub. Good selection of ales and ciders and snacks. Games and books to keep you amused. Can't wait to come back. Offers accommodation. Dog friendly. Close to the amazing Welsh showcaves.

After seeing their menu, I had 3 courses: pâté starter, slow cooked lamb for main and chocolate brownie for dessert. It was some of the best food I have had out. The food was to a restaurant standard and service excellent. Could not fault the experience, it really exceeded expectations.

Fantastic local pub with extremely welcoming bar staff. Had a fantastic meal at the pub of hearty portions at reasonable prices and with very helpful staff.
