Disappointing, vegetables certainly not hot, and I think you need educating on what a chocolate bomb pudding is!

Fantastic food and service, so much so we are going again in two weeks time

New for 2017! This establishment is now called 'The Temple Bar' and has a brand new owner, bar staff, chefs and food menu. It's gorgeous! Lovely food, friendly welcoming atmosphere and quality drinks.

Be warned: this establishment has now changed hands and the quality has taken a nosedive. Some of us ordered Steak & Ale Pie there 2 days ago. When it came, mine contained 4 small chunks of tough beef. The rest was mixed vegetables and of the ale there was no olfactory trace. It was served in a small china dish with a rectangle of (previously) frozen pastry placed on top Beside it there were chips, peas and a small salad in a bowl. The peas were cold and the salad was without dressing. The chips, however, were excellent and came with a small bowl of ketchup for dipping. I enjoyed the chips; the rest was extremely disappointing. We were not surprised that, despite it being about 8 pm on a Saturday evening, nobody else in the place was eating. (Fabian and Nazra have now moved further up Temple Street, where they have opened Fabian's Kitchen - which I recommend unreservedly.)

Absolutely lovely lunch today. Beautifuly cooked, presented and served. Warm welcome from Nasra and lovely to talk to Fabian - owner and Chef - at the end of the meal. Attentive, well recommended. This has not been my first visit and will certainly not be my last.
