Honfleur. Lovely place to watch the world go by. Our last stop before heading back to Wales.

All the Daks in a row at Caen airport, but windy weather prevented them flying 🙁. But we got to chat to plenty of people of different nationalities that travelled here, including the Czech gent pictured.

Sat in our time machine listening to a very windy night and heavy rain in Normandy. Thinking about the Yorkshire father and son pictured below who we met yesterday at Arromanches. They took the ferry from Portsmouth to Caen and cycled to Arromanches in honour of those who landed on DDay. On vintage bicycles, they are making their way to Cherbourg and sleeping enroute outside with no camping gear!
I hope the French are at least letting them hide out in a barn somewhere tonight.

What an amazing couple of days commemorating the D Day landings!

Been enjoying a bit of Cidre tonight in Normandy as part of the the DDay celebrations. Some more pics to follow, but now time for some Zzzzz

Sharing a drink on the side of the road with a couple of the men that did the drop out of the Dakotas today. They're still waiting for their unit to come and find them!

Dakotas over Normandy June 2019. What an amazing experience, and so humbling too. Thinking of all those who served during the second world war.
A huge thanks to all that participated and made this event so special. Got to shake some of their hands as they made their way through the fields after their landing.

Turns out June is the month of the bicycle in France. Stumbled across a Vintage event, and this man's great collection of bicycles

La Rochelle and the Marais Poitevin. Didn't want to leave!

The Time Travellers do have a soft spot for French vehicles. Not had a photo opportunity for our favourite (Traction Avant) yet.
