The Torbay Inn (Permanently Closed)

My fav of all! Regularly visit this beautiful homely pub with fantastic food.

Great dragon stone cooked meal tonight. Sirloin was gorgeous and the minted lamb was fab too. Fussy teenager had the chicken and he liked it.
The apple sorbet was lush and the best service we've had so far in Wales.

Been to The Torbay Inn, on holiday, for the last 3 years. Lovely welcome and the food excellent. Going again this year, hope they still do the hot stones 😊

Well what can I say. We arrived and were told by the extremely polite Clayton...that we really needed to book. But after ten mins . He told us that a table would be available..which we agreed to.
We were so so glad that we stopped.. the food was absolutely supurb...no better than that..the service.. second to none.. and the place..brilliant..
Thankyou again for a great night and making our birthday celebration..memorable.. Jenn and Steve. Sorry.. Pete..lol 😀

Having dined here as a last choice, we deeply regretted that is was not our first! This may not be on the cheaper end, however you get more quality than what you pay for.

The texture of the cod was perfect, and came with a very fair amount of chips and peas to compliment it, both of which also tasted incredible. My partner ordered a fillet steak on the bar's famous dragon stone dish, and it was both a novel and sensational way to cook your choice of steak at the table exactly how you like it, with only a small amount of direction from the waiting staff to get you started if you haven't been before. The steak came with roasted baby potatoes, and a choice of four different sauces on the side, all served in compartments of the same dish.

Not only was the food out of this world, but the staff were incredibly nice, and it really just set off the whole experience.

Really nice food and friendly staff. Expensive soft drinks though.

Steak and chips is my favourite pub meal and this was one of the best I have had. Helpful and welcoming staff and good ale make this a definite recommendation.

Will be visiting Llandeilo again soon and will be popping into the Torbay Inn .
