We love the Valentine; it's one of the reasons we keep coming back to Bron Y Wendon. The staff are friendly and terrific hosts, real ale is exquisite and quiz nights good fun. The sort of pub every village should have....already looking forward to our next visit.

We came here whilst staying at a camp site around the corner, was made to feel very welcome, our dogs were made a fuss of and given treats.

We went again the next day and watched the football.

Lovely little pub, we're sure to return.

We are staying in wales for a few months . And found the valentine. The pub is spotless staff are lovely friendly people and the food is just fab .

Took us a while to find this little den of iniquity what a fab pub ! Felt very welcome by both staff and in amongst the locals. Will be back to torment you on our weekend visits. �

Tiny pub with a big heart. Quiz nights and entertainment too alongside a wide choice of alcholic beverages. Tea and coffee too on offer .

This is a warm, welcoming pub. Great staff, wonderful decor and booze.... what more could you want?

Pubs don't get much better than this. . Ive had the good fortune to have known the Val for 40 years - it is now in its finest hour. Congratulations to the owners for making it fantastic - and if you value the British local and want to ensure its survival, go now (while the log fires are still burning). Wonderful!

Nice traditional pub. Great beer, great entertainment, great people. What more could you want. I'd recommend the Wednesday jam nights especially. :)

Just purchased a caravan at Tan yr Ogof and can’t wait to visit The Valentine on our 1st weekend at bank holiday. Sounds such a lovely pub �

Its the landlord and the landlady that make the Valentine what it is..Warm,friendly and welcoming..A wonderful village pub,well worth a visit.

Friendly and welcoming staff and customers. We popped in for a couple but ended up staying for the quiz. It’s a lovely pub.

Fantastic oldey worldy pub with a real open fire. Children and dogs are most welcome and they have a great drinks selection and real ales on offer. You are made to feel very welcome too which is lovely and the staff and management are very friendly. This pub is a real gem

Can't begin to say how much we love this place. Real hidden gem, tucked away in a quiet village. Ever changing selection of ale is extremely well-kept. Fantastic service, and always clean and cosy. Our fave pub to visit!

Always welcoming at the Val, we enjoyed the rugby with a few jars, and a bit of banter with the locals: highly recommended.

Always friendly. Staff so welcoming. Music on Wednesday great . Food boards great. Fantastic to see the traditional village inn doing what it does best....Keeping the locals happy. Dogs welcomed so has evolved into our drop in place on the dog walk route.

Always a "perfect pint" real relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The staff really are welcoming and you soon feel at home here. The hosts are a genuine lovely couple, really go out of their way for all customers. Crackin little pub
