The Valley

Went for a family meal, very disappointed, menu was not the menu advertised on their website. Steak was ordered medium rare but was like chewing gum, grizly beef in the lasagne and the fish and chips was average. My one star was the lowest that I could rate, if I could give a minus score I would. Would definitely avoid eating here.

Great location, room was clean,spacious and well decorated. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Meals were excellent well presented and cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend and would come back again.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here today but question who has what portion size. I noticed the man in front of me was given three slices of meat and so did my husband. Yet my mum and I were given only two slices but we paid the same price. It was only afterwards when we talked about it that we discovered this. Surely it should be the same for all grown adults regardless of their gender. Hopefully next time we come we all get the same. 😟

We went to The Valley today for lunch as a group of three adults and three children aged 6 years and under. We are locals and have enjoyed meals at this restaurant over the past ten years or so. The food and service we encountered today was by far the best we have ever received.
The food was fantastic. Decent portion sizes for both adult and child meals plus they tasted delicious. Even though we were stuffed from our main courses we still ordered pudding as they looked so tempting. All we can say is "WOW". Super, yummy and well worth ordering.
The service was brilliant and we didn't have to wait long for our meals to arrive or to be cleared. The children were each given activity sheets with packs of colouring pencils to keep them occupied.
The interior of the restaurant is faultless with clean, modern decor which is easily accessible for prams or wheelchairs.
We shall definitely be coming back again soon. 👍

Warm and cosy interior. Drink prices and selection isnt the best but Its good for the ocasional social gathering and a couple of pints

Good food, friendly service and the bar is dog friendly as well. Kids love the outdoor play area (when the weather's okay).

Stayed in the premium family room. Very clean and comfortable beds. Great power shower. Television in both rooms, hairdryer and iron if needed. Excellent breakfast choice and friendly staff. Would recommend!

Good selection of beers and friendly staff. Food was simple but tasty.
