Founded in 2017, Velvet Owl Brewing Co is a brewery and tap room based in Caerphilly. We brew experimental, flavour-led beers.

We love to experiment and our aim is to brew exceptional beer, placing emphasis on interesting and sometimes unusual flavour combinations.

Provenance is an important part of what we do. We only use the best quality ingredients, and make use of organic or Fairtrade produce wherever we can.

All of our beers are keg-conditioned, unfiltered, and unfined. This means that while some of our beers may have some natural haze, particularly our more hoppy beers, they are all of the highest standard.
