Wales' Next Big Singing Competition!
This Spring The Performance Factory and Guvnor Management launch THE VOICE OF SOUTH WALES! A singing competition in search for South Wales’s next big vocal talent!
So how does the competition work?
The Blind Auditions – 90 seconds to impress:
This stage of the competition is all about the voice! During the blind auditions, our three judges sit in their chairs facing away from the stage, so they can’t see the artist during the performance. If a judge is impressed by what they hear and wants the artist to progress to the next round, their chair rotates to face the performer. If all three judges turn and face the artist they are automatically guaranteed a place in the semi final.
The Voice Wild Card:
All acts will be filmed during the live audition rounds and uploaded to our Facebook page; If an artist is unsuccessful and is not taken through to the semi finals by our judges, there will be a “battle” on facebook where artists will encourage all their supporters and the general public to “like” their performance. The chosen few with the most ‘likes’ will be taken through to the semi final.
The Semi Final – The whole package:
This stage of the competition is about the whole package! Our artists will be judged on four areas including; vocal ability, interpretation, presentation and stage presence. The Judges then have the difficult decision to pick which artists they’ll take through to the final. . .
The Final:
The final stage of the competition hots up when our lucky finalists perform with a LIVE band at the stunning Y Ffwrnes Theatre in Llanelli On Tuesday April 7th 2015; An exciting evening when our judges will elect and crown ONE artist THE VOICE OF SOUTH WALES 2015!
Prizes to be won!
£1000. 00 Cash / Management Contract / Record an Album / Single played across Town And County Radio stations / Public Appearances at prestigious events throughout Wales / Professional Photo-shoot.

* The doors open at 6pm in all venues where bar meals will be served. Show starts at 7. 15pm. Drinks will be available to purchase throughout the night *
