The Warren Description

One of the most exclusive holiday home locations on the Welsh coast, The Warren's stunning location is a true show stopper.

Offering direct access to miles of golden sandy beach with views across Cardigan Bay and a truly unique combination of stunning facilities. The Warren has everything you and your family could ever need for the perfect holiday.

Step out of your luxury holiday home and wander down to The Warren's beach; perfect for long walks, an early morning run, or lazy family days by the water. The sea is exceptionally calm here, making it ideal for swimming, power boating, water skiing and windsurfing. Getting out onto the water is easy, thanks to the slipway that makes launching your boat simplicity itself. The Beach Bar, with it's decked terrace overlooking the bay, is a great place for a cold beer or ice cream as well as sandwiches and snacks served during the day.

The magnificent multipurpose sports facilities here include three outdoor heated pools plus an all-season indoor heated pool. The outdoor pools - which include one especially for children and another with an exciting flume - are sheltered within a walled area where the grown-ups can enjoy a glass of Pimms from the Pool Bar while watching the kids splash away. If a good work-out is more your style, there is also a fully equipped gym.

The Club House, exclusive to Owners, includes a bar, offering a wide range of drinks you can enjoy inside or outside on the terrace, a restaurant with an extensive menu and a games room for the kids.

The Warren Spa, located in the Leisure complex offers a range of treatments for ladies and gents - go on, treat yourself!

Well done to Max, Henry, Jasmine, Sadie & Josh who made friendship bracelets and raised an amazing ÂŁ107.50 for the Abersoch RNLI on Saturday. Great work guys!

User

It's a bit chilly today with a chance of rain so we're not BBQ-ing at the Beach Bar as planned. Warren Club & Pool Bars are open and the Beach Bar is open serving a selection of hot and cold snacks, sandwiches, drinks and ice creams 🥪🍦🥤. Enjoy!

Myself and my sister used the spa for 2 hours on 1st August. Lovely setting, plenty of different therapy rooms. Lovely and clean. Will be booking again soon...

Lovely massage in the new spa today! Can highly recommend! Perfect end to the perfect honeymoon!

User

Just great! We went to the Warren Clubhouse for food last week and I can honestly say it was the best meal I have ever had there. The selection on the menu was varied, the staff lovely, the food very well presented, the price appropriate and the food delicious.

User

Have been going to the Warren for over 60 years, and it still retains the magic from my childhood. It may have undergone dramatic changes over the period but the overall feeling of a happy friendly place to holiday remains the same

User

Fabulous place, my sister in law owns on The Warren, but we started going here many years ago, in fact possibly forty years ago, amazing beach, love it. lots of happy memories.

User

Been going here for years & it never gets boring, young or old...Many good memorys4sure here... A+

User

We really like the planting on the development (been there a while now) near Talyfan. Does anyone know what the plants are that are in the really nice stone walls ?

User

The Warren is a lovely place. Pity about some of the people that stay there. They come walking down to the beach with their pooches. Then they let them have a poo and never pick up after them. They might have money but they don't have manners or give a toss about people with their children who play on the beach. I call it ignorant.

User

Fabulous setting - dissappointed of quality / healthy choice of food snd drink available at poolside bar !

User

Everything was a bit footbally but we ordered our food and got a table. The food was lovely as always and Chris and his staff did a great job getting everyone seated and served, so well done all. But the football mentality and it’s inherent yobbishness isn’t for me and I’d avoid if I knew football was on.

User

Kids burger @ÂŁ6.99 from the pool bar was beyond tiny, looking very lost in the burger bun. Commented on by the families sat on tables either side of us too.

Utterly appalling services in the warren club tonight. I ordered the Mac and cheese, it had only 10 pieces of pasta and was swimming in bland cheese sauce. It came with garlic bread which may as well of just been bread it was that tasteless. Once we had finally got the waitress over, she took the plate away with no apology and then came back to offer me three options of "same meal, different meal or refund?" Still no apology, I opted for the risotto as my friend had it. After another 30 minutes of waiting for the risotto I wasn't very hungry, I then called what looked like the manger over to ask if I could get a refund instead, she was very abrupt and looked like she honestly couldn't be bothered speaking to me. She told me she could do the refund if I "just come over to the till" I then stood at the till while she was on it thinking she was serving me, I stood there for long enough, another bar tender asked me if I had been served so I said yes thank you again thinking I had, then manager then proceeded to look at me and say "no you've not I'm serving another table" the bar tender that asked me first sorted it for me and she was lovely. Other than that I think the food was bland and boring and horribly over priced, and not only that but slow and rude service especially from the manger!

Not a good start to the season... Deliberately did not book a table in town as wanted to try the new look Warren Club. It has in the past been very difficult to get a table so we were very hopeful that this would be much improved. We had read that the bar area and restaurant have been opened up to provide one larger area. The reality was that the bar area is just one large thoroughfare and therefore there are less tables than before. We accept that Good Friday evening would be busy but what we didn't expect was a buffet which had finished and the staff saying no more food would be served. This was 7.30! Why can't you put more tables in the club? Why can't you have a proper booking system or at least be able to put your name down on arrival. The 'free for all' that now ensues is crazy. Then Saturday morning I head to they gym only to discover that the mat area and mezzanine area are no more! This is the area I use the most and trying to find space in the actual gym area was impossible. There was also less equipment than before. Trying to squeeze in a mat area in the far corner is really not ideal. Overall not a great start to the season. I am particularly concerned about these changes as there are more chalets than ever and the facilities are being compromised rather than expanded. I appreciate you are trying to accommodate something for everyone (mat area now is games room for kids) but this is at the expense of people like me who have been paying high site fees for years. The facilities should be expanded to accommodate the increasing numbers of chalet owners. I have just received a text saying that there is still a problem with the water pressure on site - what on earth is going on with The Warren?

User

It was my first time at the Warren staying in a friends challis. We decided to try the renovated Warren club, it looked great inside but that's all the good I can say, the staff were miserable and unwelcoming, terrible service! No one even came over to check on us or ask how the food was, which by the way was awful and overpriced! The club was empty and the food still took ages to arrive and when it did it was cold. Overall I am not impressed and would not recommend!

User

Hottest day of the year and surprise surprise the outdoor pool was closed due to "high chlorine levels" and it's not going to be fixed till Whit Holidays. Staff were painting and sun beds were being removed to be replaced I just think they were tidying up the pool. How can they say the high chlorine levels can miraculous be fixed for Whit Holidays!!!!! My daughter and family came in Easter Holidays when weather was nice and it was closed then also. Taking into account the extortionate fees we pay the outside pool should be open from at least 1st May. When I complained to staff they said owners had been sent an email. We didn't get an email just two upset children who thought they were going in the outdoor pool!!!!

How can we be told that it will take two weeks to fix the problem if this problem occurred in a David Lloyd Leisure Club it would be fixed asap not take two weeks!!!!!

Contributes to the destruction of the native language, their company does not use the Welsh language in their website, their social media nor on their brochures, Abersoch is a little England within the LlĹ·n Peninsula, and this company directly contributes to the decline in the language, comparing this company to Butlin's 50 years previously, they made a real effort with the language, even producing Welsh merchandise (brooches etc), the warren needs to accommodate for the locals, don't you have any empathy?.

Chaos at the pool bar again today. Queues for half hour to order, only to be told it was a half hour wait for food (i might add that food on offer consists entirely of pizza’s and fried fast-type food). My son’s food arrived burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. I’m actually still waiting for my pizza so can’t even review it. Club was only half full so I’m totally disappointed. Not good enough Warren. It’s the same year in year out. People come to the outdoor pool in the holidays and hot weather so please improve your services during these times. It’s not rocket science!! Your site fees are extortionate and this kind of service is totally unacceptable.
