My favourite cafe in Milford. Wonderful atmosphere.

Excellent hide-away on a rainy Friday afternoon. . Toffee Tiffin to die for 😁

Not sure what the food is like as we've been waiting forty five minutes after ordering for our sandwiches, the kids are starving and the staff don't seem to know what is going on either! They are getting three stars as the food wasn't bad (fifty five minutes later) and we have just had an apology and a five pound refund gesture. I don't think we'd risk another visit.

I have such happy memories of this well established business, my childhood is filled with big memories of shelves and racks stocked high with every imaginable type of sugary treat. From cream filled, icing topped buns to the timeless mallow filled ice cream cones all neatly displayed ready to be served in a brown paper bag to wide eyed children, or rather the wide eyed children's nanny who had brought you here, to this once seemingly magical place.
The brown paper bag is still here but that's about all that remains from my memories. I decided to try and re-enact my childhood memory with my own children who I had suitably informed them that they would be able to choose from a vast array of treats. It didn't go down as I had planned, the vast array of sugar had gone, in fact nearly every treat had gone. No longer does it seem that they stock the array they once had but it seems they seem to have trouble stocking anything other than gingerbread men and full on cakes. I felt like asking why but I could see why, this place is nothing more than a coffee house now, pretending to be a bakery. I mean, they are even buying the gingerbread men in! And selling them at extortionate prices. £1.75 for a gingerbread sheep face! Come on your not going to create memories like that. But then I suppose that's all to be expected now, in an age where local traders complain that all our High Streets look the same and that they are loosing the "personal" touch only to try and be a "local" Starbucks.

Didn't try the coffee but I'm sure it's good. I'm off to Greggs.

Really nice bakery offering a wide selection of freshly baked products and fresh loaves and specialist breads as well as teas and coffees

Nice decor and inviting. but the most expensive bacon sandwich ever outside London!Stated a doorstep sandwich but dissappointing as it was a standard sandwich. £5! is a bit saucy for a bacon sandwich anywhere. Service by staff very full. no effort to be welcoming and it wasn't busy.

The Welsh Bakery is a fantastic place to go to get the perfect sweet treat.

I'm absolutely in love with their pancakes, and I used to buy an anazing lamb and mint baguette (not sure if they're available any more).

If you're looking to buy a friend or relative a special birthday cake, then look no further! The welsh bakery can create a beautiful tasty birthday cake, that lasts for ages!

They're so delicious, I've had one almost every year (and buy them for other people).

If you're nearby, don't forget to drop in.
