Nice friendly atmosphere, the food was good & the service quick, take the family, well worth a visit.

Great place to eat... we live nearby and go there quite often especially if we have friends to stay... friendly and comfortable and a popular place with white china lions everywhere!

Packed to the rafters when we arrived, however it was warm and sunny out so we chose to eat outside, to which the manager was very welcoming and accommodating. Excellent warm sweet potato salad, and considering it was a starter, a huge portion. The best gastro-pub burger I've ever had. Overall top meal with excellent hosts.

Fabulous pub in a stunning location. Extensive menus, good helpings and great food. This is just how pubs should be.

Lovely friendly atmosphere. Real ales. Food great value and nice. Real fire. Lamb nice as it was not cooked with mint, so wife happy. Recommend even getting friends from Blackpool to come here

Found this place on TripAdvisor and seen the reviews. So thought we'd give it a go on the way home. It's set in a lovely village. Very homely atmosphere. I had steak and it was lovely and I was very impressed with the peppercorn sauce, really creamy! Yum! Definitely go back there again :-)
