fabulous Sunday lunch yesterday, a party of 30 very well catered for. food was amazing as was the service x
The food is delicious and the portions are generous - perfect after a day of walking through the Brecon Beacons. Note that it will be closed from 30 Sept 2017 until Spring 2018 for refurbishment.
Went here while on holiday was amazing food was perfect staff and service very good whole place spotless would highly recommend this can't fault anything
Found this lovely country pub in Llanfrynach. 1st visited here on Thursday for a drink to check it out ready for the Jazz fringe night on Fri and Sat. Lovely environment. Cosy bar with log fire. Toilet facilities were great with the manager supplying toiletries and feminine stuff. Booked to have a meal on the Fri. Greatt meal lovely staff. Steak was delicious sourced locally. Had the pleasure of listening to 'this most of time' 60's music they were fab.
Back here again tonight to listen to another couple of bands The White hall parade and the black rat effect 1st was counrtyish and second rock. Grear musicians and lead vocalists. Great night out. Thanks to Lisa and Rob at the White Swan for putting all this on as part of the fringe.
Nice place not on a main route. Worth a diversion. Didn't eat but I'm sure the food would be good
Lovely pub hidden away in a beautiful village. Friendly atmosphere and excellent food.
Great food, generous portions, brilliant location and friendly staff. A great place to have lunch while out and about in Brecons
Very good service and a lovely warm atmosphere. The food was a bit of a mixed bag, one meal delicious and the other only average.
Excellent Sunday veggie roast; the beef was OK; the cauliflower was barely solid any more. Excellent service from the food staff (particularly Roberto) but the chap behind the bar was particularly impolite and unfriendly, loudly commenting to other people whilst looking us straight in the eye that our dog was 'nasty' because it growled, once, after another dog had been actively barking at it in the pub - the other dog's behaviour had drawn no comment from the staff. A shame, as a pleasant meal in a pleasant pub left us with a sour taste in our mouth. We won't come back.
