Let's just take a minute to say a MASSIVE thank you to a couple of stars who saved Christmas at Theatr Clwyd...
👉 Francesca Goodridge who stepped into the role of Alice for an injured Emmy Stonelake in #DickWhittington... "Goodridge should certainly be proud of herself. She was both daughters’ favourite performer of the evening, high praise indeed." - Arts Scene in Wales &... 👉 Hester Evans who stepped into the role of Little Red for an injured Matilda Reith in #HanselandGretel "understudy of the year!!" - Andy Snowden at CALON FM Stage & Screen

Went to see Sleeping Beauty yesterday afternoon. An absolutely fantastic show, the actors were amazing, especially the dames jokes. A good time for all ages and would without a doubt recommend to anyone. Thank you all x

Went along with Rachel and the girls to theatre Clwyd yesterday, not knowing what was on. The plain and simple hour or so of slapstick, juggling, and comedy entertained, not just me, but my daughter, and three of my beautiful grandchildren. As we drove into the car park, Rhys, my grandson said, "I`m exited", and to see his lovely innocent face beam when the show got going, was a picture. For five pounds, it was well worth the trip, and I look forward to my next trio to the theatre, although the next night out is to see Rhydian at Glyndwr, and then Little voice at Mold. In the mean time, I have been asked if I would like to go and see Alice in wonderland, and as I adore the theatre, I look forward to yet another show at Chester. Erddig usually have some outdoor plays during the summer months, and if lucky enough to have a lovely summer evening, It`s lovely to sit in the garden there with a hamper filled with sandwiches and cakes, and if you're not driving, a small glass of wine just finishes it off. There`s lots to do in our area, it`s just a case of picking up the phone to book those tickets.

Well another bonkers and amazing adventure had by myself and my daughter today. Paperfinch Theatre have created another inventive way to tell the much loved story of the snow queen. So glad we were in the snow queen group my daughter recognised Josh Sneesby straight away from last year. Such a good performance and even an unexpected theatre evacuation didn't spoil the performance. Can't wait for next years

Watched Maudie at the cinema so grateful to get a chance to see this wonderful film. Thanks Theatr Clwyd for screening something worth watching. Thanks also to the box office and cinema door staff who were welcoming and friendly. It makes such a difference to an evening out to have someone pleasant to deal with.

User

Visited the cinema yesterday with my 7 year old and 3 months old baby. We attended the parent and child cinema screening.

Fab place to take the children, so local yet so under used.

I will definately be back and have already recommend it to others.

User

Throughly enjoyed the opening performance! Highlights were the Dame and the hat that would not stay on, son found you really funny! The bad witch had the most amazing voice and played her part very well. Her son too had an amazing voice and was hilarious. Thank you ALL for an amazing show and if not booked - DO IT!

The Assassination of Katie Hopkins, what a show. It is brilliantly written, acted and sung. It is full of energy and passion. The set is minimal apart from the incredible wall of lights, how they controlled all of them, I would love to know. The show uses live video to great effect, I really loved this show - Well done Theatre Clwyd, this show needs to go to the west end.

User

Opening night of Sleeping Beauty last night... what a show! Absolutely fantastic... laughed from beginning to end! The cast outdid themselves. Well done to everyone involved. Really is the start to Christmas!

We all missed the singing/dancing bit at the end for the audience though

Last night and group of us from my church in Bangor went to the Panto and I have to say the best yet!! ( We have bn going for 9 years )

The cast were absolutely fabulous and Sean Mckenzie gave us the best laughs ever. Superb choice of music and just a brilliant January blues night out. I wish I was going again tonight. Thank you thank you one and all. See you next year.

Just been to see Priscilla queen of the desert. Nice and easy to get to. Parking after 5pm free so even better. Lots and lots of space. The show was absolutely fantastic. Loved the harmonies, costumes, the sets. The actors were all amazing. I have seen the original and I have to say that honestly it was in my opinion better than the film. It was my first time at a theatre that wasn’t a pantomime. Thoroughly enjoyed my night. Can’t wait to go to more! Well done all

User

Just been to see Priscilla it was amazing loved every minute of it xx

User

Attended the family arts event on Saturday not really knowing what to expect... well, it was fabulous! Well done to everyone involved in organising such a well thought out family friendly event . Took our two girls aged 6 and 4 and they loved it! Watched Children Are Stinky and Flying The Nest both of which we all thoroughly enjoyed.... plus face painting, dressing up, colouring, mask making, window writing and the amazing guy doing the beatboxing - girls were mesmerised! If we hadn't already made plans for Sunday we would have returned for a second day! We will most definitely be back - really looking forward to the ice rink and Christmas schedule !!! Thank you for a great day

An absolutely AMAZING wedding at Theatre Clwyd yesterday. The staff were an absolute dream team and made my brother and sister in law's wedding everything they wanted to be with so many lovely little touches.

Great food, great venue. Thanks so much Theatre Clwyd!

User

Absolutely loved the snow queen performance today! Never been to an interactive play before but it was fab. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to come to another one!! Even if we were evacuated into the cold, we all had fun singing together haha.

User

Absolutely loved the family arts day. Whoever has organised that has really thought about what children actually want to see and do. The performances were really high quality, as were the activities. The whole family enjoyed dressing up in the theatre costumes too. We can't wait to come back and see more shows there.

User

Went to see a Midsumners Nights Dream. Quite bizarre and so off the original Shakespeare plot you could hardly recognise it. Considering the young audience ( group of school children) swearing and sexual inuendos totally inappropriate and waste of money and time . Theatre usher ( one in particular) rude unnecessarily . Totally disappointed.

Would not recommend it.

Just back from seeing The Assasdination of Katie Hopkins. Wow...Intelligent, thought provoking reflection of our modern society, especially online behavior. Whilst still making me laugh. Great Cast, talented musically and in acting ability. precisely choreographed from beginning to end. What a show! hope this travels more people should see this.

I have just returned from being immersed

In the world of the The Great Gatsby! What an amazing production and fantastic cast! We felt part of the action from the very beginning and were excited to know what was going to happen next! If you get the chance before it ends, book your tickets now! I'm even considering a second visit Well done Theatr Clwyd for a truly original theatre experience!!

Absolutely loved the snow queen performance today! Never been to an interactive play before but it was fab. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to come to another one!! Even if we were evacuated into the cold, we all had fun singing together haha.

Absolutely loved the family arts day. Whoever has organised that has really thought about what children actually want to see and do. The performances were really high quality, as were the activities. The whole family enjoyed dressing up in the theatre costumes too. We can't wait to come back and see more shows there.
