Thorne Chapel

A really beautifully furnished space. It feels really spacious and is well equipped for a more than comfortable stay.

When looking for directions to Thorne Cottage I discovered Geraint Owen's rather negative review, so it was with some trepidation that I continued my journey. I'm happy to say that my experience could not have been more different to that of Mr Owen. I was greeted warmly by the owner who showed me around this ancient, beautiful cottage, which is surprisingly spacious given its age and which has been sensitively modernised for the maximum comfort of the guests. The large garden is surrounded by fields and it and the lovely swimming pool are well maintained as is the cottage and the nearby Thorne Chapel, which I was shown around on request and which was light and modern - perfect for a large family or group of friends. I spent a lovely long weekend walking on the beautiful nearby beaches and enjoying the stunning scenery, spending the evenings sitting by a lovely open fire (there is also a wood burner) before retiring to my comfortable en suite bedroom for the night. Thoroughly recommended.
